This remote was a replacement. The original was eaten by the couch (to be discovered many months later) I ordered online and picked up curbside within a few hours. This one with the voice feature is so much better than the original one. Less sensitive and the voice feature simplifies its use. It’s costly but worth it.

We bought this as a replacement for the stock apple tv remote that came with our 1st gen 4k apple tv. So far we love it! In contrast to the stock remote, we found this to be far more intuitive for visiting guest. The stock, though sleek and attractive lacked clarity in its form around how to navigate on the screen. The arrows and ring buttons on the this remote signal clearly how to navigate while still allowing for a track pad experience (which I love). The other thing we loved about this remote is weight and feel of it. It sits in your hand nicely and you know it’s there. I would recommend anyone considering this to take the plunge. You won’t regret it!

Great remote and has new USBC charging port. Battery lasts very long time.

I purchased my Apple TV from Best Buy, and I totally enjoy and use it every day, sadly, my young granddaughter decided to take the remote into her bathtub as it seemed to be a nice toy to play with so I was forced to purchase a replacement, which was so easy to pair , and works flawlessly as usual

I purchased this originaly because my original apple tv remote was damaged and didnt work. I liked the design of this remote so much i also got one for my second television. Its a huge improvement over the original remote and its programed in about 10-15 seconds no kidding. Its really a no brainer so do it.

Had the second gen for 4+ years before my toddler sent it for a swim in the dogs water bowl. Happy they added USB-C as all my other Apple products have already migrated.

My Apple Remote got wet so I had to replace it, the ease of pairing the new remote was almost scary. I turn on my Apple TV with my IPhone and as soon as I got near the box a pairing symbol up at the top of my TV screen.

Very user friendly! Love this remote so much better than the original that was so small and hard to navigate. Even our grandkids are able to use it without any help. Now we are able to access our Apple device any time & enjoy the programs. Best Buy sales rep was so helpful! Thank you!

I’m docking one star because Apple violated a rule of design on this one. Because of the sharp edges, when this is dropped, it gets gouges in the corners. Every designer knows that you chamfer the edges to prevent damage. Otherwise, the functionality is fine, but make sure that it matches the marble number of your Apple TV. It does not work with the older ones.

Best upgrade from the original remote. Kinda pricey but that’s Apple. I bought it open box and it works like new. The Siri button and mute button as well as the size of the remote make it worth the buy.

This remote is far more superior than the previous models. It actually has a power button!!! It’s heavier as well so it actually feels like a solid remote.

Best Apple product to date!!! Couldn’t beat Apple products period! BUT AppleTV formatted processor is the best of the best. Quick power-up, incredible amount FREE content, and all content is FIVE STAR!
