I bought this to replace my LG 27” 5K Mac monitor as the LG started to make some annoying squeaking sounds and would wobble back and fourth if the desk moved. My 27” iMac on the same desk did not do that. I thought this would be the monitor to go with and I was wrong. The display is stunning. Bright, accurate, and matched the iMac display. With the Studio Display next to the iMac I noticed that the monitor looked a little off. It was sitting a little lower on the left side. I checked to see if it could rotate a little like the LG but it could not. I then brought out the level and the iMac was perfectly flat while the Studio monitor was showing that the left was a little lower. I searched the web and saw that back in 2022 users were seeing this too. Surprised that they have not fixed it. I returned this the same day and will be buying the VESA mount so that I can have height adjustment along with rotation to fix any level issues.

It’s expensive, but it’s such a wonderful display. The 5K screen makes text on a Mac look crystal clear (and windows does 200% scaling but still has plenty of space), the speakers are legitimately great, and the built in mic has become my new default. I know there’s a lot of negative press about the camera, but I don’t use it enough to have an opinion. It’s a thunderbolt 3 port to your Mac, so it doubles as a docking station/charger and has really helped with the clutter on my desk

Even if they come out with a newer version in the very near future, I won’t have buyer’s remorse. If you use a Mac and need a monitor, there’s nothing better for the price. Sure, there’s the uber-expensive pro version that I’d like if money were no object, but this is literally the next best thing. I don’t notice the gram refresh rate difference, even with my MacBook Pro opened up next to it. It’s smooth and integrated so well it doesn’t have (or need) any physical buttons. The picture quality is fantastic for productivity and photo/video work. The adjustable stand is a nice, but pricey perk, that I don’t regret buying. I did buy it on sale and saved about $300 at the time. Also, buying from Best Buy with a membership means you get AppleCare as well.

You have probably researched the life out of this display, and along the way, kept asking yourself: “Is it worth upgrading to the tilt + height adjustable model?” Wonder no more: “Yes, it is worth it.” I held off on good deals for the standard tilt model for the right circumstances to get this model, and I am glad I was patient. I am adjusting the height all the time! The mechanism is so fluid and reassuring, and it is by far superior to all the other solutions and work-arounds I tried to figure out for the sake of saving money with the standard model. If adjusting height means anything to you, this is the model to get. And it’s built like a tank.

I initially struggled to justify the cost of purchasing the Mac Studio Display, but as someone who works from home and spends hours staring at a screen every day, I have to say that it's been worth every penny. I've tried other monitors, including ultra-wide ones, but none of them have been as enjoyable to use as this one. I did extensive research for several months before finally deciding to buy it, and I have no regrets whatsoever. In fact, I was so happy with it that I even purchased a second one. I prefer this dual setup over any other arrangement, as they're not only functional and productive, but also add a touch of style to my home office. Most importantly, I can work for hours on end without straining my eyes, which is priceless to me.

I was on the fence about this monitor until I powered it on. It's a lot of money but man I knew once it came on I was sold. It's so bright and crisp! I still can't believe how good these speakers sound. This is the best monitor that I've ever owned. So sorry I didn't buy it sooner.

Yes the webcam is subpar, yes it costs a fortune. One cable gives your Mac power, studio mics, premium speakers, a USB-C hub, useable webcam and impeccable clarity for any personal or work task. Most computer purchases can be used for 4-6 years now. This will easily last you 10. I went for height adjustment since a premium desk riser or VESA mount can cost as much as $100 anyways. Wish I bought this sooner.

Despite the high price, truly an instance of “you get what you pay for.” The colors are vibrant, the screen is bright, even in a room with lots of sunlight. The one cable integration with our MacBooks is great, especially given the integrated camera and speakers. If you have Apple computers, this is the display to get.

love my studio 1 year later, highly recommend for apple products. Fun fact it charges my MacBook Pro M3 Max Nicely so no wonky cords every where

Best monitor I’ve ever used. Wish it worked easier with gaming consoles but works very well with everything else including phones and iPads. Sound quality is amazing.

Impeccable unit, satisfied with the purchase. Functions as intended. I wish more people could experience it, however the cost is most certainly exorbitant. Purchase would make more sense for professionals with deep pockets or businesses with deeper coffers.

ended up returning this. it was a really great screen! feel like it still lacks features, mainly webcam capabilities and would like to see smaller bezels and increased screen size options. price of the product with height adjustable screen is steep for what you get.

Do it. So much nicer. I bought one of each for different offices and I’m replacing the tilt with height.

I tried another brand but so used to the brights nits on my 2020 iMac I had no choice. I shoot food photography, it makes all the difference

This is the best display for my Mac. It has beautiful colors and is crystal clear. It connects to my Mac with ease. I love this display!

Excellent quality picture, especially with ethernet cable for high speed internet. I'm a huge fan and owner of an LG OLED TV, so I don't feel it is as good as that, even with the higher resolution. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, works well for my applications, and rounds out all of the apple products that I own. Only negative is the cost...
