I picked this cable up to use with my UAD Apollo interface for music production, and it’s been rock solid. If you’re working with audio gear, you already know how important a stable connection is, and this cable has been completely reliable, no dropouts, no weird disconnects, and no latency issues. The cord is braided. It basically the thickness of an hdmi cable. I use this cable to connect my M5 Pro MacBook Pro to my iPad Pro to use side car as well as use it to transfer large files. IT allows me to charge my iPad while using side car and allows zero latency. It also helped me transfer files from another MacBook Pro. Over 500GB in less than 7 minutes. Truly amazing.

Ok, so it’s a cable. Not much to add but does seem much faster than USB C cord I was using to connect Mac mini to apple monitor. Bit pricey but if speed important, would spend a little more on this cable

This is the best cable I have ever owned or seen. If you ever watch a teardown of Apple cable, they are amazingly well made. This cable is the one to get, no matter what USB-C/Thunderbolt product you have. It charges at 240W! It is swift, and you can feel the quality.

wish i could find a longer cable locally but this works as advertised, quality cable, speeds are to spec. nothing to complain about.

Needed to transfer data from an old MAC to a new MAC, which required this cord. It got the job done in no time flat. There were other options, but this made it quick. Would recommend.

Item is well made, durable and will last a long time. many more many more manufacturer should take a few pages out of apple's book when it comes to durability.
