    Happy with my purchase

    This is my first smartwatch. It is a GPS/WiFi only watch; not the cellular watch which costs more. I researched and read the reviews for this, The SE 40mm, and the series 4,5 and 6 Apple watches. I choose this watch for what it offered, price, reviews and quality. The only thing that I do not like is that I can not delete/remove apps from the watch that I do not use. To me, why would I want apps on a watch that I will not be using. I have had my watch for a few weeks now and I am pleased with it so far. I do want to note that I had to reset my watch due to it using up a lot of battery. I also had to customize the settings in the watch for notifications and Background app refresh. I found that these settings can help eat up the battery on the watch. Also, when your Iphone receives an update it sometimes causes a conflict between the two and it will also eat away at the battery. So, be aware of that. I had googled this and found others who had the same issue. All in all I am happy with the watch and I hope for it to continue to be as good as I think it is!! I did purchase some additional bands for my watch from Ebay. I was really happy with the sport band, it is just like the band that came with the watch but not as wide as the original band. You do have some great options for different bands! I really love having the different watch faces to choose from!!!

    Apple Watch SE 1st Gen Review

    This Apple Watch SE has been a breath of fresh air for me for the last year or so I’ve been using it. It’s my first Apple Watch and it has all the basics and little perks that makes it that much useful. I’d recommend for anyone who isn’t heavily reliant on using the watch more than their smartphone or you’re just getting into using smart watches.

  • Will I have a monthly bill like a phone bill? Or do I just have to pay for the watch and that’s it?

    For this particular model, you pay for the watch but if you purchase the watch with gps + cellular then there’s a monthly cost associated with it.

  • I see the price, but then when I choose a carrier it goes up significantly??? Am I missing something? Do I have to specify carrier as it is a gift and not sure what carrier to choose.

    The cheapest price you see means it is the gps option. With this option, you will be paired with your iPhone over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The GPS + Cellular version, on the other hand, can also latch on to cellular networks (LTE or UMTS) and can be used as a standalone device. For example, if you choose the gps, your phone has to be nearby to make calls. If you choose a carrier (your phone carrier), you will pay more because it is like a mini phone on your wrist. You could leave your phone behind and still be able to make calls, text, etc. You will also pay more on your phone bill for the carrier option.

  • Fall feature?

    I have not fallen, but I did go over a speed bump on the street on my bike and that initiated a 911 call. I was unable to cancel or get out of it and ended up talking to a dispatcher.

    No! As long as your phone is close by or within a reasonable range it works with it

  • Does the SE model have the EKG feature

    No EKG or Blood Ox on the SE. The Series 5 and Series 6 have the EKG feature. The Blood Ox is new to the Series 6.
