Q: Does the Apple Watch work with Metro PCS carrier?
A: I current have Metro by T-Mobile and as of today (02-01-2022) you CANNOT have an Apple Watch ANY series work wit Metro. They do NOT support any smart watches a this time and the manager said he didn't see them adding the feature any time soon either. I currently have a 3 series and it connects using Bluetooth. So if I leave my phone somewhere or it dies my watch does not still get my calls or notifications. Only when it is in range via bluetooth. So please don't waste your money on the cellular version. IT WILL NOT WORK!
A: Buy your watch and don’t tell it who your favorite cellular provider is. I promise it will love and treat you right. Only if you want to use the watch as a stand along unit like if you leave the phone in the car and go for a swim, workout at the gym, or for a jog, will you have to call Verizon and set this watch up on a data plan. If your Bluetooth is on and phone is nearby, your watch will work just fine.
Q: Can the same cellular service be used on both my apple cell phone and my apple cellular watch?
A: Your watch will connect to your phone not by cellular but by Bluetooth. You will use your cellular when, for example, you leave your phone at home and go for a jog. You will need to set this watch up with a data plan, with the cell provider of your choice, if you plan to use this device as a stand alone unit. If that’s not your cup of tea, go for the non-cellular version and save yourself some cash money.
Q: Is this watch compatible with the Apple SE phone?
A: Yes, it is compatible with IPhone SE
A: It works as its own number. You will be charged anywhere from 5-10 dollars for this every month on your current plan though. Didn't know that at first.
Q: Is this compatible with Sprint?
A: Yes, although Sprint is no more - they merged with T-Mobile. But yes the Apple Watch works with T-mobile / Sprint
Q: Is this SE model water resistant , waterproof, swimproof ?
A: Yes it is, up to 50 meters. Unless your doing deep sea diving you are good to go with normal activities and swimming.
