the Apple Watch keeps you connected and organized throughout the day. Its sleek design, customizable watch faces, and variety of bands make it a stylish accessory for any occasion. One of the standout features of the Apple Watch is its comprehensive health and fitness tracking capabilities. With features like heart rate monitoring, ECG, blood oxygen saturation measurement, activity tracking, and workout tracking for various exercises, it’s a valuable tool for monitoring and improving your overall well-being. Additionally, the sleep tracking feature provides insights into your sleep patterns, helping you prioritize rest and recovery. The app ecosystem on the Apple Watch is extensive, offering a wide range of apps for productivity, health, entertainment, finance, and more. Whether you need to check your emails, track your workouts, or stream music, there’s likely an app available to suit your needs. The Apple Watch also excels in keeping you connected on the go. You can receive and respond to notifications, answer calls, and even make emergency calls directly from your wrist. With built-in GPS and optional LTE connectivity, you can track your location, get directions, and stay connected even when away from your iPhone.

The most notable upgrade is the display. It's now a whopping 2,000 nits bright, making it easy to see outdoors, and it can also dim down to 1 nit for better battery life. Double Tap Magic: A new and convenient feature is the ability to control your watch with a double-tap gesture. This is handy for situations when you can't use the touchscreen, and it's customizable. Improved Performance: The S9 chip with a 4-core Neural Engine delivers a noticeable performance boost, making the watch feel snappier and more responsive. Health Tracking Features: The Series 9 retains the excellent health tracking features of previous models, including ECG, blood oxygen monitoring, and sleep tracking. It also boasts new temperature sensing capabilities. Great Battery Life (for a smartwatch): Despite the brighter display, battery life seems to be on par with the Series 8, lasting around 18 hours on a charge. In real-world use, some reviewers report even better battery performance.

I had a Series 3 for a long while and never considered upgrading because it was still working great and looking good. However, my wife urged me to get the new Series 9 over any other Series watch since it was my birthday and I was looking at new Apple stuff. You should always listen to your wife, fellas. She was 100% correct, and I'm thankful I listened to her (2 kids and 1 on the way will teach you that). The upgrade is significantly noticeable, not just in terms of size, clarity, and speed, but also in the voice recognition/speech-to-text feature, which is vastly improved. The functionality is so smooth. I almost went with a different brand of smartwatch, but decided to stick with the Apple Watch because of how reliable and long-lasting my Series 3 was, and still is, honestly. The battery life lasts over 2 days so far. I haven't gone more than two days to test it longer since the purchase. Make sure you get a good bump cover for the outside of it and a good screen protector. The extra $20-30 is worth the protection.

The Apple Watch from Best Buy is an exceptional purchase, blending sleek design with powerful functionality. It offers seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem, making it perfect for iPhone users. The fitness tracking features are robust, including heart rate monitoring, ECG, and a variety of workout modes. Battery life is decent, lasting about a day with regular use. The display is bright and clear, even in direct sunlight. While it's on the pricier side, the overall performance and build quality justify the investment. Highly recommended for tech enthusiasts and fitness buffs alike.

The Series 9 is now an older gen model (as of 2026) but everything still working great. I'd initially purchased these for the blood oxygen sensor, of which is still fine. Saves me from having to look for my oximeter. There's nothing else to really say about them. After 3 years, the battery life ain't what it used to be, but that's to be expected. But everything is still functioning. The only reason why I wouldn't recommend the now (in 2026) would be because you can probably get the series 11 or upcoming 12 for around the same price I'd paid.
