Bought open box iPad Pro so I’m very happy to have picked up AppleCare.

I have always purchased Apple Care on my Apple devices. One year I had one month left of coverage on my Apple iMac 27 inch. I had a flimsy desk, was changing the time on the wall clock above the desk, lost my balance and knocked the iMac over. There was cracking to the glass and a bulge to the silver backing. I rushed it to the nearest Apple Store. If they’d had an Apple ambulance I would have called them. Rather than thousands of dollars I paid $100 for the repairs. They also checked the entire system and found no problems. That was a major relief. The back of the iMac with the bulge would have cost considerably more. I didn’t care about the bulge. It was repaired within a few days. These are not toys!

I have insurance for a lot of things - AppleCare+ is an insurance policy for my Apple item. I think it's a good thing, promising quick action when something goes wrong. I pay monthly, so it is good, not a drain all at once on my finances.

This is very good thing to buy if you go with apple products specially with Best Buy. They are so good if you have any problems.

I had to cancel this monthly plan from Best Buy after talking to Apple support because they said Best Buy AppleCare doesn't allow subscription management on your Apple ID account. I like to manage all my apple subscriptions in 1 place and not have to worry about multiple payment methods for recurring subscriptions. If you want to mange your AppleCare you have to call geeksquad, not convenient.

This is something I think is required anytime you purchase an iPad Pro. They’re too thin now to not have AppleCare+. Thankfully it’s a decent value and the service functions fantastically.
