AppleCare for Mac- the safe way to go.

I purchased AppleCare with my new 16" MBP. I think having the extra insurance is the safe way to go, when making a high end computer purchase like this. Though my MBP's have been dependable thru the years, experience tells me that problems arise with the best electronics, on occasion.

it is a necessary evil given the amount of money you have to spend for the MBP. With a college student as the user, you have to cover your bases as the repair cost are a bit out of control. If you check my other reviews the apple cost seems to be a theme. Great product but certainly paying top shelf price.
