I liked this item. I was using a different brand before. The MacBook is really great. It is not heavy and it is very easy to carry. Thanks

Great computer. I don't like requiring adapters for cables, but it's the only problem I have with the laptop.

Great to have when you’ve got small children! The comfort of knowing it’s covered while I’m taking classes online is amazing. Couldn’t do this without my laptop!

Apple Care is great, but when you spend close to $1000 on something, it should come with a 3-year warranty. That's just my 2 cents.

Disappointing AppleCare Experience at Best Buy (North Port, FL) I brought my laptop to Best Buy for a keyboard issue, and they sent it off for repair saying it was a bulging battery. Five days later, I was informed that I’d need to pay $99, , because they claimed there was liquid damage. Despite the tech opening/looking at "100% battery manufacture issue" The entire process was frustrating and unclear, and it felt like Best Buy was just passing the issue onto Apple without understanding the details they could not fix or accurately diagnose The Geek Squad was not helpful, and even when I called for clarification, the staff seemed confused about how AppleCare works and what I was actually being charged for. Had I just gone to a local repair shop instead of buying AppleCare, I believe I would have had my laptop back much sooner, at a lower cost, with far less hassle. I would not recommend relying on Best Buy for repair services, as they seem ill-equipped to properly handle AppleCare claims. It’s not worth the time, money, or confusion.

If you know you know. Worth it for larger purchases (MacBook, iPad Pro, higher end iPhones that you purchase yourself. Hope you never need it, but good to have when you do.

Haven’t used it yet but it’s great to have a peace of mind especially when kids use the laptop every single day for schoolwork.

I always get a protection plan if I can. It seems like if I don’t then down the road something happens and I am like “I wish I had a plan” so I get them for peace of mind

The current generation of MacBook Airs are absolutely fantastic, and quite honestly one of the best computers ever made. As a result of Apple Silicon, the MacBook Air is super fast, impossibly thin, with incredibly battery life. The screen is gorgeous, the keyboard has a great tactile feel, and the trackpad is best-in-class. To top it all off, you've got the beauty that is macOS, great support from Apple, and it doesn't need a fan! My only complaints are the high costs of adding additional RAM and storage. The base model comes with 8GB RAM and a 2565GB SSD. While a 256GB SSD is somewhat small, it is easy to workaround utilizing cloud storage and/or external storage. On the other hand, 8GB RAM simply isn't enough, particular when it comes to future proofing, so it's basically a necessity to spend $200 to upgrade it to 16GB.

Don’t ever buy apple products without getting the insurance for it. We all live every day unconsciously enough to walk around with thousand dollar products only to break it and realize we aren’t covered so there we go paying more to get another one rather than sending it straight to the manufacturer with a “I’m sorry I broke it! Please fix it!” And boom! Same phone is fixed all because you had insurance. BUY THE INSURANCE!!! WORKS ON LITERALLY ALL APPLE PRODUCTS!!!

This is a great thing to have especially a college student since you never know what might happen. It is nice knowing that I can replace my computer if something goes wrong

My very first Macbook Air. Tricks and functions a little confusing at first but as you learn them. I am retired and been on it most of the day, everyday.

I’m glad I got AppleCare for my MacBook Air! Hopefully I won’t have to use it, but I feel better knowing I have it — just in case.

100% mandatory to have AppleCare+. You never know what unforeseen circumstances can arise. Having that peace of mind is everything.
