Apple Care provides great peace of mind for an affordable price

AppleCare+ is worth the purchase as I have used it a number of times not just from broken items but for battery replacements as the device got older.

This is a good program to take care of a MacBook Pro being used by a college student and all the attendant opportunities of failure and mishaps.

Product works phenomenally. Definitely something to purchase

if you like the feel of a bare iPhone, if you have toddlers who treat iPads like frisbees, or if you've ever felt your stomach drop when a laptop slides off the couch, just buy it. The upfront cost is annoying, but the peace of mind knowing your $1,000 investment isn't one bad drop away from the garbage bin is usually worth the price of admission.
