Adding AppleCare at time of purchase is the easiest way to be protected long term.

Apple Care is a no brainer to me. I have purchased iron my last four laptops, and used it just for technical questions mostly. I’m very at ease knowing I have it just in case something goes wrong. Laptops are too expensive to fix.

Unfortunately getting Apple products repaired is a pain. Buy an extended "full" warranty especially especially if you're prone to dropping laptops. The MacBook pro is nice but the lid looks very delicate.

Investing in AppleCare+ for my MacBook has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for peace of mind. The coverage extends beyond the standard warranty, offering protection against accidental damage—something that’s reassuring when you’re working with such an expensive machine. What really stands out is the customer support experience. If something goes wrong, AppleCare+ makes it incredibly easy to get repairs or even replacements, often without the hassle of long waiting periods. I’ve used it once for a screen crack, and the entire process was smooth and fast, with minimal downtime. The accidental damage coverage is what makes AppleCare+ worth it. While it doesn’t cover everything for free, the reduced service fees for things like screen or case damage are much cheaper than out-of-pocket repair costs. The included battery replacement is also a great perk, especially since MacBook batteries, after heavy use, eventually need replacing. On the downside, the price of AppleCare+ is definitely something to consider. It’s not cheap, and if you’re someone who takes really good care of their devices, you might not feel the need to purchase it. However, for those of us who want to protect the investment in our MacBook, especially from accidental damage, it’s a solid insurance plan. Overall, it’s a great option if you want to extend your coverage and minimize the risk of high repair costs. If you’re prone to accidents or just want extra security, it’s definitely worth it.

This is my 3rd go'round with Apple care. My 1st go'round, my hard drive died on my laptop after a year. Applecare made it very easy to get it replaced. My 2nd go'round, I found out that the airport I bought was also covered by Applecare in addition to my new laptop. Pretty cool to have 2 devices supported for the same price! I did not need to use it> Nice to have and not need, than to need and not have.

Hard not to get. With the expense of a macbook pro, protection would be a good choice. It shows up in my apple account. I don't believe I had to do anything but pay for at time of purchase, just checked and was there already. I haven't had to use it, hope that I never do, but have incase something happens.

AppleCare+ is something I've bought every time I got a new iphone. It has given me peace of mind and I will continue to purchase it every time I upgrade my phone.

AppleCare+ offers peace of mind by removing the stress of accidental damage. Knowing your device is protected allows you to relax and focus on what matters.

I always recommend to get protection when acquiring any apple product. It gives you peace of mind that if something unexpected happens you are covered.

Its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Always always always get Apple Care. You think you won’t need it and then something happens and bam now you are paying way more if you just had AppleCare.
