But you gotta keep the annual membership running. Imagine you are a small family and you were smart enough to buy everyone's apple devices at Best Buy. Its a no-brainer. It pays for itself, not to mention the other services you get. Its a big win if you are an apple family. GO TOTAL! or pay for Apple care, or dont, and drop your iphone. DOH! I hate when that happens!

One of the greatest advantage to the BEST BUY TOTAL membership perk - if you are a fan of APPLE devices, is the additional full year of APPLE CARE+ added to any new Apple Device you buy. The Geek Squad is now also blended with the Apple Genius Bar so you can get top notch service all in the same location. Last year I purchased an iPad Air with WiFi + Cellular and this week just bought the brand new Mac Mini with the M4 chip. The additional peace of mind to also have an extended warranty is a relief for a "just in case" unanticipated moment to protect your purchase.

This was the primary reason I decided to become a Total Member at Best Buy. It saves me money when I purchase Apple products.

I have used this service when my MacBookAir acts up, when I lost my phone, etc. They do a great job. Sometimes I have needed to ask for a senior support person if the person who answers my call is new and we aren't getting anywhere. They are all trying real hard to solve the problem though--always.

The Best Buy Total membership covers this feature within the membership plan. I have purchased AppleCare+ in the past and believe it is well worth the coverage...just like life insurance...only you are around to use it!

Review of Best Buy Total Membership Plan and AppleCare+ Integration I recently tried to add AppleCare+ to my devices using the Best Buy Total Membership plan, and the experience was less than ideal. It wasn’t immediately clear that devices purchased outside of Best Buy aren’t eligible for AppleCare+ under this membership. Instead, you need to purchase a separate AppleCare+ plan for those devices. This lack of transparency in the terms and conditions is inconvenient and could be improved. On a positive note, the support team was very helpful in explaining the situation, which I appreciated. However, greater clarity upfront about eligibility and restrictions would save customers time and prevent confusion.
