I've had it less than 2 months and I have had to change the batteries twice. I would return but I missed the return window. I paid more for this than my old one and it still works better and its years old. I've even seen it change weight with the food item on the scale and nothing touching the scale. I don't trust that it is even accurate at times. I would not recommend the scale at all. It is trash in my opinion.
