The camera is a good product. It light's up in the evening when an object comes into view. Having to keep it charged regularly is awkward.

This is great to charge a camera that isn't convenient to remove. The cord is long enough to reach an outlet in most case, but if not it can easily be connected to an extension cord.

This cable is not cheap and it must have shorted out and the arc caused one of the brass pins to disintegrate. Now nothing charges. Used it maybe 15 times before it happened. And it’s more than a year so to the trash it goes. $40 wasted. Buying a knock off to replace. Too expensive to malfunction after so little use.

It worked for maybe 3 months and gave out. But I left it outside 24/7 for 24/7 Use. So, I guess it depends on how long you need it to be outdoors for.

Only for Gen 2 cameras.

Unfortunately, it only works with Gen2 units. I have a Gen1 camera, so I took it back for a refund. I would recommend for someone who has a newer camera.
