Graphics are amazing, combat is really fun. This a true remake to one of the greatest games.

Great game it looks amazing on the Ps5 pro lots of action great graphics and gameplay

Remember 13 years ago sailing the high seas with your pirate mateys as they sing shanties. With nothing but your wits and grit making a name for yourself and stealing cargo with the jackdaw and your crew. Well you can once again revisit those memories with this nostalgic love letter to black flag. It has been a pleasure playing this game I have sank several hours along with ships into this game. A must buy.

Wow this game brought me back to the good days of being an Assassin! 10/10

Been a while hasn't it? Ubisoft releases their best game in years by going back to arguably their best Assassin's Creed game. Game looks great, sounds and music are still fantastic with new shanties to listen to as well. On foot combat is a little more modernized but still has some jank but nothing that really gets in the way. Enemy AI can still be braindead though as they all wander to that whistling bush to meet their end. Naval combat has been tweaked a little though nothing too much though the legendary ships at the coners of the map feel a bit overtuned with how quickly they can destroy even a maxed out Jackdaw. Glitches aren't uncommon though I have only encountered just a couple. Ever see a ship go mach 2 and ram another so hard it's left spinning? You're no longer tied to playing some of the main game and then being forced backnto the modern story, that is completely optional now so you can spend tour entire time living the life of a pirate. Despite some usual Ubisoft glitches and whatnot the core game is just as fun as it was over 10 years ago. Presentation is just as good and you'll get lost upgrading your ship, yourself, and hunting down those treasure map pieces. You'll take down multiple ships in a single battle, dive under the sea while avoiding sharks or harpooning great white sharks topside in revenge. I'm still working through the game but I'm reminded why Black Flag is still my favorite pirate game ever released.

It’s been 13 years since the original release and the game is the classic, “exactly how I remember it!” Graphics are stunning, combat is different but still well handled and it keeps the execution animations. What they added doesn’t detract from the original story at all, they are more a “take it or leave it” situation.

Great remake! Maintains most of what made the original great and greatly improved on many aspects of the game. Beautiful game, responsive controls, fast loading, crisp graphics and a wide variety of things to do in game.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a technical showcase on PS5 Pro. Extended ray tracing (Ray-Traced Global Illumination + Ray-Traced Specular Reflections) runs across all modes—Performance (60 fps), Balanced (40 fps), and Fidelity (30 fps)—delivering richer lighting, wet surfaces, metal, and ocean spray that feel alive. Base PS5 gets more limited RT in Performance mode; Pro keeps the full suite without compromise.  PSSR 2 upscaling produces a sharp, clean 2160p image with less of the usual gap between performance and fidelity targets. Strand-based hair simulation is a standout: Edward gets it in every mode, nearby crowds benefit in Fidelity, and cinematics apply it broadly. Combined with DualSense haptics, HDR, Dolby Atmos, and the overall fidelity boost, sailing, boarding, and freerunning feel more immersive than ever. If you own a PS5 Pro and loved the original’s open-sea pirate fantasy, this is the definitive way to experience it—visually polished, performance-flexible, and a clear technical upgrade that makes the remake shine.

Nailed the Remake. Decent price and good quality. Weird controls but get used to it after a while.

Game is awesome with they’re all a few glitches in the game. But not enough to keep me from playing it. It’s been so long since the original came out. It’s like a brand new game and it is awesome.

The game is really good. Finally Ubisoft remembered the roots of the series. And most importantly I was skeptical of the delivery but bestbuy delivered it to me exactly on the launch date. I have no complaints on any point, be it the product or delivery.

The updates they made to gameplay and the graphics live up to the hype. Only thing missing is the desmond story in the real world but it still is amazing and fun. The shanties always make the ride even more fun.

100% worth it, if you ever played the previous version, it doesn’t really matter even if you already know the whole story, feels like a brand new game, it’s too good. Also the graphics are beautiful.

This resync of Black Flag is amazing!!!! The graphics are BEAUTIFUL!!!! The gameplay is really fun!!! If you liked the first one you’ll LOVE this one!!! If you did not play the first one, definitely give this one a try!!!!

I loved Black Flag on the PS3 and this is so much more than a remake. The game has been expertly crafted from the ground up. If you have never played this game before, now is the time to pick this up.

Plenty of reason to go back to this, even if you've played the original. Graphics look amazing (especially on the PS5 Pro). Plenty of "Quality of life" upgrades, including modernizing the engine and controls.

I’ve spent hundreds of hours on the original and this update is so smooth, from visuals/sounds to the loading speeds on a 1st gen PS5. One of the best ACs was made better.

I love this game. I’ve put 160 hours into it and still exploring and having having. Such a great remake. Just didn’t like the microtransactions for $9.99 each.

Absolutely loving the game and love it more since Best Buy didn’t charge me for shipping:) I have already sunk(pun intended) many hours into this treasure trove of a game.
