A: SInce this question is over a year old with NO REPLY, , my guess is that they do not care about keeping your business.
A: Yes, this card supports 10Gbps networking speeds. https://www.asus.com/us/Networking-IoT-Servers/Wired-Networking/All-series/XG-C100C/
Q: Was this card manufactured in China?
A: ASUS has manufacturing plants from other countries, a serial number is required in order to determine which country it was manufactured from.
Q: If I have a PCIE 3.0 instead of a 4.0 how will my speeds differ?
A: I was told 5-10% loss, I had a 4070 S on my 10600k(z490) and it ran fine. Smoked my 3060 ti. I was going to upgrade CPU first, but after researching everything, decided to do GPU then whatever CPU I can grab when a sale hits. I hope this helps.
Q: This NIC is PCIe x3 compatible?
A: Yes, this NIC is PCIe x3 compatible.
Q: Does the type PCI Express slot matter on the speeds?
A: I think the question should be: "What generation of PCIe does this card support?" Given its age (released in 2017), I doubt this card is anything more than a PCIe Gen2 (at most a Gen3) card. NOTE: Gen2 is "enough" to support a 10GbE NIC (@ 4Gb/lane * 4 = 16Gb) It would certainly be nice if ASUS and other manufacturers stated what the card actually supports (requires) on the PCIe side. It's inaccurate (at best) to state that PCIe Gen4 offers any performance benefit at all. Just my opinion of course...based in math though it is: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
