A: On a full battery is about 7 to 8 hours depending on what tasks you are doing. I usually dont charge it overnight and still lasts all day the next day. It does charge quick so no need to sit around and wait.

A: Sure does, right out of the box. If you have an android smartphone, and you choose to use the same account on your chromebook as you do on your phone, it will ask you during setup to add apps you've installed on your phone.
