A: All you really have to do is plug in and sign in to your google account. I love this computer!
A: If you use any of Google's online services like Google Drive or Google Docs or GMail, then hypothetically, yes. The only thing separating your content from anyone curious is, in effect, the Google administrator's password or a government's search warrant. That is highly unlikely though. And that said, that's true regardless of which OS you use. If you don't use any of Google's web services and maintain Google Chrome's privacy settings, then you should be as "anonymous" as on any other OS. Bear in mind that Windows 10 goes to great lengths to track your usage habits, as does Apple. It's dawned on all these companies that you are the product. If you want to be truly private, don't use any of their online services or operating systems. Use Linux --- Ubuntu, Fedora, Red Hat, etc... I use Kubuntu myself. ChromeOS is also a linux operating system, by the way, and so is very safe as regards third party malware.
