I am absolutely blown away by the RTX 5080. It handles 4K gaming like it’s absolutely nothing. It’s a big jump from what I’m use to. I don’t really care for the DLSS but I find that the retracing is pretty nice and also the temps of the video card average around 39°C after an hour and a half of playing. overall, the video card is worth it even though you’re paying $400 over MSRP.

Runs well, and doesn't get very hot even under a full load. Runs quiet. Not really worth the price difference from the founders edition, but this one is just easier to get.

ecently upgraded from an RTX 4060 Ti to this RTX 5080, and the difference is honestly staggering. While the 4060 Ti is a solid card for 1080p and light 1440p gaming, the 5080 is in an entirely different universe of performance!

This thing is an absolute beast, lightning fast, hitting top scores on all my benchmarks, great for overclocking too. I love it.

Compact compared to other GPUs, no RGB, quiet and stays cool while gaming. Wish the MSRP was lower of course.

So far, no complaints. Card has been solid. One of the more "reasonably" priced 5080 card. Performance has been slightly over average on 5080 benchmarks. Temperatures around 70C under load, which is more than acceptable in my book. It is big and heavy so you'll want a support for it. I haven't tried any additional OverClocking but it does support it. I haven't tried a lot of titles yet, but gaming in 4K at just under Ultra settings has been fine. I've also done some self-hosted AI stuff with great success.

I'm coming from a EVGA 3080 -- this 5080 is a great performance upgrade. I loved this card because of its 2.5 slot form-factor. It fits perfectly in my Fractal Terra build -- Prime OC one side, and 14700k w/ Noctua NH-L12Sx77 on the other. I'm using an 850W SFX power supply -- no issues with the Prime OC's power draw. The card itself stay nice and cool. I've added +300Mhz to the boost clock and +1000Mhz to the Memory Clock. It works great -- and very stable with that OC. GPU Tweek III (Asus Overclocker software) works great... set it and forget it. It starts on boot and sets the previous OC profile. I'm using a Samsung 57" Odyessy G9 which is essentially 2x 4k monitors in one panel. The Asus Prime 5080 OC pushes all of my games at or max setting... and still keeps great frame rates. A big improvement over my 3080. Thanks to Best Buy for dropping these card at MSRP. The new queuing system is much improved! Thanks.

The RTX 5080 is an incredible GPU to use with Davinci Resolve for 4K and higher resolutions video editing. The card enables precise color grading and custom LUTS being applied to very low light or high dynamic range video. It’s very easy to edit video/audio from multiple cameras and have it appear uniform. Way out performs my old laptop editing.

This was a GPU upgrade from RTX4080 to RTX5080 to utilize GPU tech advances. I use this for PCVR sims (DCS) and it requires the same tweaking as any other GPU used with VR.

Great card with solid OC headroom. Runs surprisingly quiet and cool as well. Can't complain other than the rising prices.

Is it pricey, yes. is it loud yes. is it worth it yes. This card may not br an rtx 5090 but its also not $2500 - 3000 dollars. This cards kicks some serious butt. Now there is a catch. if you have RTX 40 series card then it might not be that awesome and you should stay with your card. if you have a card that is older then do it.

Incredible gpu. Blazing speeds and great temps. If you can get your hands on one you won’t be disappointed

Works well, no flashy lights. Got it at $1099. Certainly worth it for that price.

POWERHOUSE. I'm playing every game I own on 4k with max settings. The new DLSS just makes it get even crazier framerates, and I'm not even using framegen. 90+ FPS in Battlefield 6 with max settings at 4k.

Great graphics card. This fits perfectly in my newly built PC. Purchased from Best Buy at MSRP, I was looking for this card for a long time! The 50 series is priced high but this is a good card.
