I’ve been using the ASUS ProArt PX13 GoPro Edition every single day for both work and personal use — including writing this review — and it has honestly been one of the best laptops I’ve owned. The balance of portability and power is incredible. It’s compact enough to travel with easily, but still handles demanding workloads without breaking a sweat. The display is absolutely gorgeous, battery life has been solid, and the overall build quality feels premium from the moment you open it. Performance has been excellent across the board. Whether I’m multitasking, editing content, streaming, managing work projects, or running heavier creative applications, the PX13 stays fast, responsive, and reliable. ASUS really nailed the thermals too — it stays surprisingly cool and quiet for such a powerful machine. What stands out most is how effortless the experience feels. It just works. I depend on this laptop daily, and it’s become one of those devices I don’t really have to think about because it consistently performs exactly the way I need it to. The only minor issues I’ve experienced have honestly been more Windows-related than hardware-related — the occasional random hiccup or update weirdness that pretty much every Windows user has dealt with at some point. None of it has been serious or enough to affect my opinion of the laptop itself. Overall, the ASUS ProArt PX13 GoPro Edition has been pretty close to flawless for me. If you want a powerful, professional-grade laptop that’s portable, fast, beautifully built, and dependable for everyday work and creative use, I’d absolutely recommend it.

There is really nothing like it on the market. 16 cores and 128GB ram packed in a 3lb 14inch machine. I mean - I really hope Lenovo can have their x1 carbon line using the AMD processors, but that's not going to happen anytime soon due to the exclusive deal with Intel. It handles everything relatively smoothly, and has a decent enough battery that last almost the whole workday under moderate load. However, there are some really serious drawbacks: - HW: ASUS - if you are going to sell the top-of-line laptop, please do not leave the last 10%: Screen - it should have been VRR up to 120Hz OLED; SSD - there are plenty of space for a FULL SIZED M.2 2280 SSD, please do not sacrifice and use the half-baked M.2 2230, and in addition at this price we should really be expecting 2TB SSD! - HW: ASUS - please test your software and drivers before releasing the product!! If you install the latest AMD driver, your laptop will lose the speaker!! - SW: AMD Radeon 8060S - it's a pain in the neck to configure it with ROCm under wsl, to be used with pytorch and other libraries. Nice to have but didn't offered with the laptop: - PRIVACY SHUTTER!! - OPTION TO ADD WWAN with SIM CARD!!

Excellent performance, but VERY noisy VRMs. The 395 max+ is a solid CPU, probably the best x86 APU on the market, 60Hz display is not an issue at all, and the OLED looks fantastic. However the VRMs have significant coil whine, sounds almost broken.

I bought this laptop primarily for AI work, and overall it’s a very nice, compact machine. The build is light and easy to carry, and the keyboard is excellent, great travel, great feel, and genuinely enjoyable to type on. The trackpad is decent as well, though the dial feels a bit gimmicky in day‑to‑day use. The 3K OLED screen is sharp and vibrant, even at 60Hz. My biggest disappointment is the speakers. At this price point, I expected much better audio quality; they’re serviceable, but noticeably weak compared to the rest of the device. For AI workloads, performance is okay. The unified memory bandwidth holds things back a bit, which leads to slower tokens‑per‑second than you’d hope for with this hardware. Gaming performance, however, is surprisingly strong, roughly on par with an RTX 4060 laptop GPU. Overall, it’s a well‑designed, highly portable machine with great input and display quality, but the speaker performance and memory bandwidth limitations keep it from being perfect.

Can run a tad hot but if you put 2mm thermal pad along heatpipes centered from apu to foam lining and repaste with 7950 ptm you can max it out and it wont go above 72c.
