Is this a feature rich laptop dock with lots of ports and options? No. Will it keep your ROG Ally charged while playing and allow you to connect to a TV/Monitor and plug in one other USB device? Yes. Absolutely. It's also very compact and comes with a quality USB C to C cable for charging your Ally. I've stopped carrying the charger that came with the Ally and I use this instead. My only critical piece of feedback is that the balance of the unit is a bit off. It's bottom heavy and has a tendency to angle down and potentially fall out of the outlet if your outlet socket is at all loose.

This is very great, and works with other devices other than just the ROG Ally. My only complaint, is that it's HDMI 2.0 instead of HDMI 2.1. Without that, you can't use VRR on a TV. Solid fast charger. It only has one USB port but thats to keep power output under 65w. If you need something on the go and you get it on sale for $30 (which happens often) it's a great purchase.

Very high-quality charging dock, I really like that it's the folding-prong design. It includes a premium braided USB-C cable that is a nice length too! Obviously can't test it with the Ally until launch day, but I tried it with my laptop and it worked perfectly. This one truly is the only option for an Ally dock solution that makes sense because it's designed by Asus and is the only one that allows the full performance mode of it's GPU.

Got this yesterday for my RoG Ally gaming tablet. I plugged it in to my bedroom TV and so far works great abd the picture quality is very good! I played a few games such as Dave the Diver and Starfield via dock connection and they run great on the Ally via TV! I got mine for $26.99 on sale plus $5 coupon. It was wirth it for that much but i would not recommend spending the regular $64.99 on it!

I'm using this item along with a 1 to 2 USB splitter from Plugable, I was able to plug my ROG Ally Z1 Extreme into a keyboard and mouse, and into a 1080p monitor. It works great and I have had no problems with it so far. My ROG Ally Z1 Extreme can still use turbo mode 30w with this dock. Supposedly you're not supposed to use anything that needs to be charged in the USB ports provided by the splitter, so I don't do that.

Well there is no fooling here, this guy docks your beloved Ally x to your tv and it does it well, been using it with no issues. It charges my ally x while gaming and i hardly miss my ps5, got it on sale so i got lucky.

Great addition to my Ally to easily connect it to my tv when I want to play games with my wife and can just pick it up and go any time. Helps manage my cables as well!

I like the fact that this has HDMI, USB A&C ports, and is 65 watts to get the max output of the console. I did get a multi USB Port with a USB C to A adapter to attach a dongle for my wireless keyboard & mouse as well as a 1TB external SSD for extended storage. Rather than having to flash the bios and take apart the Ally and purchase a new proprietary SSD and reinstall windows. I actually use this more as a home/portable PC than a handheld gaming device though I do game on it. It's perfect for emulation. I know, why not buy a laptop instead right? well at this price point & level of portability it outweighs the pros of a laptop for me. Also while out and about they're a selection of Bluetooth keyboards with track pads full size or hand held (pictured is the one I'm waiting for arrival). P.S. Excuse the rats nets of wires used for demonstration.

This is a great charger. Its super fast and it let's you hook it up to the television.

Making the portable, unportable! Short of needing longer wires unless you run a power strip near your display device of your choosing, it works great. I opted to also run a usb dongle that adds for peripherals and it’s just like running a pseudo PC.

Functions just as it should! Love that it has the usb a pet and allows it to be used as a dock

Works Amazingly, My Only gripe is that it only has 1 usb slot on it. still, great bang for your buck, and it's probably the best dock out there for the rog ally (Both Versions).

This should be a must have when purchasing a ROG Ally. Not only it gives you other options to hook up your Ally to an external device but also lets you hook up a wired controller with ease. In case you still haven't purchased a dock for your Ally this should do the trick. Not to mention this charger is lightning fast compared to the stock charger the ROG Ally came with (I haven't even used my stock charger since I picked this up). I also use it to charge my Apple watch

The device gets hot while using. It has allowed me to use the Rog on my tv.

Small charger and dock just as it says. Nice compact design from asus. Little worried about heat after a while but just make sure it has air flow and should be fine

It works as advertised. I use it everyday and it works flawlessly. I connect my Ally to my TV through the hdmi and charge it at the same time.

I brought this because i thought i needed a dock to connect to my Tv, controller, keyboard, and flash drive and it works, but it also charges the my rog ally x faster than the original charger that comes with my rog ally x

Tried to use any other adapters and they didn’t work. No issues at all with this one and because of the shape it has it doesn’t take space at all.

Love this dock. I like how compact it is and having the USB a on there is great for transferring to external hard drives
