The ROG Ally Xbox X is an absolute powerhouse. I’ve used the Steam Deck, MSI Claw, and the previous ROG Ally X, and this latest version is a major upgrade. I was able to play Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty while docked to a 144Hz gaming monitor, and the experience was incredibly smooth—especially with the ROG Bulwark dock, which let me hardwire the device to the internet instead of relying on Wi-Fi. This handheld is seriously powerful. While I still use my gaming PC at home, the Ally Xbox X lets me keep playing seamlessly when I’m on the go. One important tip: if you’re using the Bulwark dock, make sure to get a 100W or 140W charger. The 65W charger that comes with the device isn’t enough to support the Turbo mode, and you’ll need that extra power to unlock its full potential. Overall, the Ally Xbox X is a beast. Works as easy as you'd think and looks really cool at the same time. Also works with the Dbrand KillSwitch case on the ROG Xbox Ally X, although you have to open the KillSwitch kickstand to set it on the Bulwark dock, and you have to flip the dock's charging cable around so the 90 degree end is plugged into the dock itself and not the device. Or you can use the 90 degree end on the device if you use a USB-C extender to add height so the cable clears the case. If you don't have the KillSwitch case on the ROG Xbox Ally X then there's obviously no compatibility issues at all to work around.

Amazing little stand with the ability to charge and give it Ethernet so I can charge my device and also download games faster or anything I want and the lighting is nice

Everything works well with any ROG Ally including the newest one. I have to bump it down to 4 stars because for the price I assume it should be working out of the box and even though it is assumed to work with the ROG Ally family, it doesn’t fit out of the box with a Killswitch case on my Ally. I had to use a USB-C extension to make the included cable fit into my ROG Xbox Ally X with a Killswitch Case. In the pictures I included I show the product without the USB C extender and with one. (That I had to purchase separately)

This thing is awesome ! I connected it to ALLY X, and the Xbox Ally and downloaded content using the wired internet. It makes the Ally X and the Xbox Ally X perform like a full computers on your TV or gaming monitor.

Amazing it connects to my Rog Xbox Ally fast. It's easy to use I recommend this for your ROG Xbox Ally the only con is the price is a bit high.

I love my bulwark dock and I’m glad I purchased it when I did. If I’m traveling and I have a tv or monitor I can use, It links up nicely. Just need the appropriate cable. I even purchased the 140w charging block so I have no issues with getting the power I need from my multiple connections on my dock.

The best dock for the Xbox Ally, I highly recommend it.

Does exactly what I need it to do for my Rog Ally. Also works as a great hub for my Rog Strix to keep everything plugged in when I take my laptop on the go.

Great stand with the name brand assurance that it wont screw up my $1000 investment. My only issue is theres no lip to hold it on the stand, just a slightly grippy strip. So far it’s held it in place just fine, even when puposely shaking the shef it’s on.

Really nice docking station that goes well with my other ROG items. Has a good weight that prevents it from moving when docking and undocking my Ally.

Cord broke, only had for 2 weeks and the 1st time we went to unplug the c to c cord fell apart (metal part came out) and we have tried to replace it and cant find the correct one to make it work.

Nice and compact whilst still maintaining excellent usability. The rgb lighting isnt too much or too bright it's in a very nice sweet spot. Connectivity to peripherals is excellent and ive had 0 issues whatsoever.

This has been great for my Asus Ally Xbox. All the port you need. External monitor, Ethernet, and more USB-C and A ports for expending and power. The Ally rests perfectly in the dock. Once connected, make sure you update the firmware for the Bulwark so you can access all of the features. They you can sync and just the colors of the front display lights. Display and other connected devices have worked with no issues. The only issue is the cable from the dock to the Ally is really short. But, I got a longer one and I can play while connected to the dock with no issues. Great for playing on a larger screen.
