As a Hideo Kojima fan who has always wanted a special edition piece of hardware predating the MGS series. This was the perfect collab containing Yoji's artwork in a high quantity device. I am absolutely blown away by the quality and detail

I owned this tablet for about a month and a half and ended up exchanging it for the non-KJP 128GB Z13 Flow. I love the aesthetics and what it could've been, but the issues were not worth dealing with and waiting for ASUS to eventually come up with a solution, if ever, was not something I was going to wait for and/or be stuck with a tablet that was only 80% capable. Love the looks and overall feel of the tablet. From the moment you turn it on, you feel as though the device was just made for you. When I fist got the tablet, the first problem I was having with was the touchpad. It felt as though it only felt my finger about 60% of the time. Two finger scrolling was even less so. Then the real problems came when trying to play games and the whole tablet would freeze and hard to do a hard reset as no key stroke combinations worked to get out of the game. Sound was playing, screen was frozen and could not do anything. The tablet worked well while surfing the web and working in office products, no issues there. Just playing the games and touchpad were the real main issues. I first tried a clean install of Windows 11 and installing the drivers manually, also tried some suggestions from Reddit. Ultimately, I felt it was in my best interest now, to go ahead and return this tablet recoup $1000... take advantage of the ASUS promo this Memorial Day weekend. Hope this helps anyone. I think ASUS has a great product and I would've kept it if the issues didn't bother me so much. I have no idea when the fixes will be worked out. I have the Best Buy Total protection membership and was able to get a full refund/credit towards the non-KJP version. I highly recommend getting some kind of protection for these devices.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13-KJP (KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS Edition) is an incredible powerhouse that truly represents the future of portable computing. ASUS has really pushed the boundaries with this device—it's not just a gaming laptop; it's a premium hybrid machine designed for gamers, creators, power users, and anyone seeking desktop-class performance in an ultra-portable form. Equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and 128GB of RAM, this device delivers performance that feels like overkill in the best possible way. Tasks such as multitasking, AAA gaming, AI workflows, video editing, 3D rendering, and productivity are handled effortlessly. The 13.4" 2.5K 180Hz touchscreen is stunning—it's sharp, fluid, and responsive, whether you're gaming, streaming, or using creative applications. The KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS Edition design adds collector's appeal, featuring a sleek and futuristic aesthetic that stands out. What impressed me the most is its versatility: it offers tablet-style portability, touchscreen flexibility, Copilot+ AI capabilities, and solid gaming performance all in one device. The thermal management is surprisingly effective for such a compact machine, and the build quality feels premium throughout. Pros: - Exceptional performance with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 - Massive 128GB RAM for extreme multitasking and futureproofing - Gorgeous 2.5K 180Hz touchscreen - Premium KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS collector's design - Excellent performance for gaming, productivity, and AI tasks - Portable yet powerful Cons: - Premium price point - Battery life can diminish under heavy gaming loads - 1TB SSD may be insufficient for large AAA game libraries Bottom Line: If you're looking for one of the most advanced compact gaming and creator laptops available, this is a remarkable device. While it comes at a high price, you are getting elite-tier performance, a unique design, and next-gen versatility that few devices can match—truly a dream machine for tech enthusiasts. dream machine for tech enthusiasts.

I’ve been really enjoying the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 (KJP). It’s surprisingly powerful for how small it is—runs newer games like Crimson Desert really smoothly and looks great while doing it. The best part, though, is how portable it is. It’s super easy to carry around, but still feels like a legit gaming machine. Definitely a great pick if you want strong performance without being stuck at a desk.

I knew going in that this had the exact same specs as the standard version, but even though I'm not a Kojima mega-fan, the styling and the carrying case totally won me over. It honestly feels like a "Super Surface" tablet, and even the Surface pen works better on it than the ASUS pen does. Overall, I'm incredibly impressed. Between the 395 chip, FSR, and Frame Gen, games run beautifully. I wish this had an OLED display but this display is still pretty good, especially at 180hz. It’s not a pure, top-end gaming machine for the price, but gaming isn't why you buy this. The real magic is the 128GB of RAM that can split off up to 96GB of that purely for VRAM to run massive AI models. It’s not as fast as a desktop setup, but buying enough RTX 5090s/5080s to match that VRAM pool would cost way more than this whole tablet. If you just want the AI performance and want to save some cash, look at the ProArt PX13 GoPro Edition instead—it’s a normal laptop layout but saves you about $700. Or, if you want the tablet, watch for the normal Z13 variant (with same 395 chip and 128GB RAM) to drop to $2,800. Either way, it's a stellar machine that handles everything I throw at it. I am not so thrilled about the battery life...probably get abour 2-3 hours for productivity use. I haven't tested the battery life with gaming but I've seen some reviewers mention about a 1-2 battery life for gaming. I would imagine running the big AI models on battery would be similar to gaming battery life, since it's going to try to run max performance to process. As mentioned earlier, the ASUS pen does not work so well on this tablet but if you can grab the Surface pen, that works better. The biggest sin of this machine is its very limited expandibility. To be fair, 128GB RAM is way more than I could ever wish for, but that 1TB 2232 drive was disappointing. So far, I've only found up to 2TB for 2232 drives and the price in today's market is very depressing. However, good thing is both USB-C ports are capable up to 40Gbps so if you can get a fast external, you can expand that way, but again, very expensive in today's market.

Yoji Shinkawa and Kojima Productions did an amazing job designing the outer appearance of the device. However, it's still an ASUS Product. Still running Windows 11. Still using AMD processors. Still bought through Best Buy. Shinkawa's brilliance can only carry this product so far, as these other details have caused this thing to be nothing but a pain to own. I've already had to install a fresh copy of Windows 11 thanks to Microslop's vibe coding completely bricking multiple features. After reinstalling and blocking Windows updates, I found that many of the drivers on ASUS's website for this device just inexplicably fail to install. Despite none of these drivers being related to Armoury Crate, post-reinstallation, Armoury Crate can no longer read GPU temperatures, and force it into Power Saving mode against my will. Windows has also repeatedly "ran into a problem and needs to restart". Windows is such a miserable experience, I don't think anyone could design a more terrible operating system if they tried. ASUS took multiple days after release to finally get the Death Stranding 2 codes out, AMD/Best Buy argued over who was supposed to distribute the Crimson Desert game code, and never got that handed out despite the website showing this product would count for this promotion. And finally, Best Buy's "0% APR financing if paid within 12 months" doesn't work, so I paid an additional $63 for this product thanks to an interest fee. Love Yoji Shinkawa's work, but I couldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Dear KojimaEnjoyerWindowsHater,
Thank you for your comment.
We do understand your disappointment with the laptop and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing difficulty installing drivers successfully. Windows 11 works properly on this laptop. To install the drivers successfully, ensure Windows is up to date and the chipset driver was installed first before installing devices drivers and applications. Also, you can install these drivers in the "My ASUS" application. If the Armoury Crate utility software can no longer longer read GPU temperature, ensure you are running the most current version posted at: https://rog.asus.com/laptops/rog-flow/rog-flow-z13-kjp/helpdesk_download/ . For the promo code, you can claim this within the Armoury Crate utility log into your ROG VIP account, navigate to the "Features" tab on the left menu, and select "Game Deals" or the "News" section. This area offers exclusive discounts, bundles, and content giveaways (such as product keys) for ROG users.

Good laptop however not worth the asking price. Currently the non-limited edition is $1100 cheaper. Does not come with mouse, headset and game pad that is shown in the ASUS website…have to pay extra for those items. The case is nice but no cutouts or space for the charging brick, and you’re not playing on this for over an hour with charging. Product would be good if the price included the matching mouse, headset, game pad, and had the ability to put the charger in case…as of now…probably best to buy the original, grab non-matching accessories, and still have over 800 dollars saved

Dear GeoffeyC,
Thank you for your comment.
We do understand your disappointment with the laptop' high cost if it is not bundled with accessories. The high-price of this laptop is still worthwhile without bundled accessories because it is widely regarded as a unique, premium 2-in-1 gaming tablet that offers an unmatched portability without sacrificing gaming-grade performance
