I did a TON of research before buying and have had the ROG G700 with the RTX 5070 video card and Ultra 7 265KF chip for about a month now. It performs incredibly well, playing every 1440p game I can throw at it with ease. It is ultra quiet and has an amazing light show. I love the glass elements inside the box that tell the story about ROG and it seems like this was designed to be a visual showpiece. I have it sitting on top of my desk, rather than below it, because it looks so nice. The software it comes with ASUS Armoury Crate (real spelling; that's the Queen's English) is not bloatware at all. It helps control the lighting and many performance aspects of the computer, like a command center. ASUS really did a good job with this one. I have seen a few other brands get advertised on Black Friday sales with similar specs at a little lower pricepoint, and even though I am in the extended return window I would not even think about trading this machine for something else. It's a work of art with performance baked into every curve!

I was very skeptical about this prebuild because prior ti this purchase, I knew that ASUS was not as top notch as they used to be, but this set up was a beast. It runs Cyberpunk Pathtracing at 70fps. My main gripe is the 12 gbs of vram. You’ll be seeing many games use up at least 10 of it.

Runs everything I need at peak efficiency, a cinebench score of over 33000, beautiful graphics that only get better as the drivers for the 50 series cards improve. A cooling system that keeps things nice and frosty. Could not ask for a better rig.

This PC has been working out great for me. I changed out the GPU to the ASUS TUF 5070 TI OC and it fits in there perfect. This PC has been able to handle everything I have thrown at it. The biggest thing I like is that it remains cool while playing games. The CPU will usually stay in the 40s while playing games. I know everyone says you should get a Ryzen 9800X3D but the Ultra Core 7 265KF does just fine. According to research I have done the Ryzen is 10% better since it is dedicated to gaming. The picture is a benchmark for COD Black Ops 7 set at extreme with shadows turned down some.

I went with the Asus prebuilt because I knew what parts it was put together with. The of the other off brand pre built PCs use whatever parts are available. It was either this one or the MSI and I chose this one on a sale. Great quality and it’s humming after a few months. Very happy!

ROG G700 Gaming PC Review (Ultra 7 265KF) I’ve been using the ROG G700 Gaming PC for about a month, and it’s a powerful, customizable machine that excels for gaming and photo organization / editing, though I hit a few bumps during setup. Here’s my experience: Hardware and Upgrades I upgraded the RAM from 32GB to 64GB with Crucial memory and added an 8TB WD Black NVMe M.2 drive with a heatsink. The upgrade process was straightforward, but I had to buy a separate screw to secure the M.2 drive, as none was included despite the manual’s claim. Also, the spec sheet on Best Buy’s site mentioned expansion bays, but there were none, so my Crucial BX500 SATA drives are connected via USB-C. This setup works, but internal bays would’ve been better. The system stays cool, with no overheating issues, and runs very quietly. Gaming Performance The GeForce RTX 5070 with 12GB memory handles games flawlessly. I’ve played Doom: The Dark Ages and World of Warcraft on ultra settings with no issues. GeForce Now streaming also performs seamlessly over my internet connection, making this PC versatile for both local and cloud gaming. Photo Organization / Editing I used Lightroom to organize years of photos from a 3.5" 7200 RPM drive via USB. For best performance, store the Lightroom catalog on the main SSD—using an external SATA drive slowed things down. Upgrading from 32GB to 64GB RAM mid-process significantly improved performance, as Lightroom was memory-intensive. Editing is smooth. Purchase Experience The missing M.2 screw and incorrect specs on Best Buy’s website were frustrating. However, the local Best Buy manager was excellent—responsive and quick to resolve my issues. Navigating Best Buy’s automated phone system to reach the local store was a hassle, but once connected, the support was great. Pros * Powerful performance for gaming and photo organization / editing * Easy to upgrade RAM and storage * Excellent GeForce RTX 5070 for ultra settings *Reliable for cloud gaming with GeForce Now * Very quiet and cool, even under heavy loads * Great customer service from Best Buy’s local manager Cons * No expansion bays, despite specs claiming otherwise * Missing M.2 screw, requiring separate purchase * Best Buy’s automated phone system is frustrating Final Thoughts The ROG G700 is a fantastic choice for gamers, content creators, or anyone wanting a high-performance, upgradeable PC. Despite minor setup issues, it delivers on power, flexibility, and quiet operation. My past experience with ROG and the reasonable price at Best Buy sealed the deal. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable gaming desktop.

I’m absolutely impressed with the ASUS ROG G700! This gaming desktop delivers outstanding performance right out of the box. The Intel Core Ultra 7 processor paired with 32GB of fast RAM and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU handle all my games smoothly, even at high settings and 1440p resolution. The 2TB SSD ensures lightning-fast load times and plenty of storage for all my games and files. The build quality is top-notch...the tempered glass panels and sleek design look fantastic on my desk. I also love the customizable RGB lighting that adds a great vibe to my gaming setup. The system stays cool under heavy loads thanks to the efficient liquid cooling, and it’s surprisingly quiet for such a powerful machine. Setup was easy, and Windows 11 runs flawlessly. If you’re looking for a high performance, reliable, and stylish gaming PC that can handle modern games without breaking a sweat, the ASUS ROG G700 is definitely worth it!

I enjoy being able to play my games at max settings. I am seeing things I never knew existed in my games. I could personally do without the fan and case lighting, but I discovered the included app, which allows me to change the colors, so I have it set to something I can live with. The computer is quiet but has no overheating issues. I use my computer in the garage with limited ambient cooling, but the machine has had no issues at all. I am completely satisfied with the machine.

For the cost, I got it on sale, I feel that it is a good deal. I like the layout and the look. I only wish they had a 5080 GPU instead of the 5070/ The 5070 series GPU is working well in BF6 with most setting at Ultra, but I tone it down a bit for some things. Runs almost silent with it reaching about 50C in game sometimes which is really good.

This ASUS computer has been a fantastic purchase. It’s fast, responsive, and handles everything I throw at it without slowing down. From everyday browsing and office work to more demanding programs, it runs smoothly and efficiently. The build quality feels solid and well-designed, and the keyboard and screen are both comfortable to use for long periods. I also appreciate how quickly it boots up and how quiet it stays, even when multitasking. Overall, it’s reliable, powerful, and feels like a great value for the performance you get. I’d definitely recommend this ASUS computer to anyone looking for something dependable for both work and entertainment.
