Pros: 4 Back Paddles 2 Extra Shoulder Buttons OLED Remap / Customization Hot-Swappable TMR Modules Good Ergo Cons: Horrible Jitter; basically, the 8K Polling, High Stick Response Time, and High Res Sticks aren't doing much. Bottom Paddle Longevity (mushy / broken after 72 hours of use, likely secondary to their optional nature like the Elite) Weak Frontplate Magnet (pulls off with my hand) Only 1x Tall and 1x Dome (no symmetry possible on $200+ device) I actually really like the controller, but I will only continue to use it if the 2nd one I receive is any better. Controller feels better than the Wolverine out of the box somewhat, but its durability is laughably worse atm.

I had my controller for about 7 days before returning it and will focus on the cons, since I hope they will be fixed in future batches. - Compared to the Original Raikiri II Xbox Edition, the sticks felt somewhat worse & less smooth; there was definitely some subtle but noticeable jitteriness. - The magnetic faceplate only has 2 magnets on each side of the grips and they are not strong; in one session, when my hands were somewhat sweaty & the controller was sliding down, the faceplate detached on one end; to make matters worse, I found out that one of the magnets in my faceplate was not glued into its well properly and came out. Lastly, the faceplate is very thin. - The polling can only be set to 1KHZ or 8KHZ, nothing in between - The OLED screen is great, but honestly, the resolution could be somewhat higher quality. I personally did not encounter issues with the magnetic rear buttons, but if they're anything like the ones on the faceplate, I am concerned with them falling off in the future. Overall, the build quality is not where it needs to be at this price point. The faceplate & magnets need significant improvement, and the sticks do not feel on par with the Raikiri II Xbox Edition -- so I'm hoping the QC on these controllers improves, otherwise there may be better options for this price-point.

This controller has a lot of potential. I really liked the design, the software, the responsiveness, and all of the customization options. Performance-wise, it feels excellent and could easily become one of the best controllers on the market. The main problem is the physical build quality. The front faceplate is held in place by only four magnets, and they do not hold it securely enough. After several hours of gaming, the faceplate can start moving, stick to your hand, and even come off by itself. The biggest issue in my case was the rear buttons. Two out of the four rear buttons started failing after only about two hours of gameplay. They became completely stuck and stopped clicking altogether. They literally became unusable. For a controller at this price point, I expected much better durability and build quality. What makes this even more disappointing is that I waited months to finally get this controller. I was really looking forward to using it, but I only got to enjoy it for a couple of hours before these problems started and it was no longer usable as intended. I really enjoyed using the controller, which is why these problems are so disappointing. I hope ASUS improves the rear buttons and the magnetic faceplate system in future revisions, because the software, performance, and overall concept of the controller are excellent. With better physical construction, this could easily be one of the best controllers on the market.

The ROG Raikiri II Pro feels like it could be a great controller, but I can’t recommend it right now. The top rear paddle kept getting stuck while I was playing, so I had to return it. Now I have to wait about two weeks for a replacement to be mailed to me. I’ve also had trouble with the 2.4 GHz dongle. With it connected, I repeatedly heard the Windows USB disconnect and reconnect sound, and my PC’s RGB lights shut off while launching or playing a game. Removing the dongle stopped the issue. I can’t say for certain what caused it. The charging dock is awkward too: the controller is hard to line up on it, with no clear click to confirm it’s charging. Direct USB-C charging works fine. Right now, it feels like the first wave of buyers are the beta testers. I’d like to get the white version, but it isn’t available to purchase yet. I’m giving this a **2.5 out of 5**. I can see the potential for a 5 out of 5 if ASUS fixes these issues, though I’m skeptical they will. At this point, I feel like I need ASUS customer service on speed dial and a backup controller ready in case it breaks again.

Dear Ouja,
Thank you for your comment.
We do understand your disappointment with the quality of the ROG Raikiri II Pro controller and the inconvenience this may have caused if you experienced issues with the top rear paddle kept getting stuck, the USB Dongle getting disconnected and the RGB lights shutting off. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free; these are random problems. The USB Dongle and RGB lights issues indicate a USB controller power surge or a driver conflict triggering a hardware reset across your motherboard's USB bus. This issues can be resolved by fixing driver conflict and disabling USB Power Saving Management in the Device Manager, and moving the Dongle to another working USB port.

This controller has everything that would make it a 5 star aside form rubberized grips. Without the rubberized grips your hands slip during sweaty sessions and the cause the faceplate to lift. Back paddle also started sticking within just a few days of use. Also can't recalibrate the right trigger; at 100% displacement on the calibration it keeps loading. Absolutely love this controller and its feature, but at this price point they need to have quality control on lock.

I really like this controller. By no means is it perfect but the closest thing to it for me. I think if u have big hands tho it may be a touch small for you. I like how light it is. It feels premium to me and to the other "high" tier remotes. Only controller that has every button has a mouse like feel. Extra buttons take some time to get used to but feel good. I was amazed at how perfect the back paddles fit perfectly for me. Medium sized man hands.

I have both the Raikiri II and Raikiri II Pro PC. The II Pro PC is a large step above the regular one. It's very customizable and very high quality. I love the micro switch buttons. Highly recommend this controller!
