This thing is crazy! I am using it for a small business and have over 25 devices connected to it. Getting some good speeds usually around 211mbps. The size of the unit is pretty big around 10x10''. The led on top if a cool touch. Great range due to the 8 antennas. I have used ASUS routers for years and have always had success.

I am a gamer and streamer of HiRes music and movies I have owned many Asus routers of the past, including the AC3200 and my beloved AC5300. The AX11000 is by far the best router that I have owned thus far. I love having the tri-band option, as this leaves my PC a 5G band to use exclusively, while streaming music and movies on a second 5G band, leaving phones, tablets, and visitors the use of our 2.4G band! But what sets this sexy router apart is, the alluring RGB ROG symbol,( in which my wife loves! ), and the very obvious performance boost over the AC5300!! The setup was fairly simple, I thought that I could do it all through the very awesome Asus router app, but forgot that I had to connect it via ethernet cable to my PC for completion. So people do not make the same mistake I did, unless you know how to use the app in way that I don't. I also love that, if I am blessed enough to purchase a larger home, I can always sink this with my AC3200 for a very solid and reliable AirMesh system!! I still feel as if it is still a little too pricey, but the latest and greatest normally is! My streaming picture and music improved immensely once I upgraded to the AC11000. So anyone asking why do I need to spend so much for a router? The benefits outweigh the cost. If you love HiRes streaming and gaming as much as I do, it would be criminal not to add this router and a 3.1 modem to your setup!!!!! In my humble opinion of course.

WOW! All I can say is WOW! I finally pulled the trigger to update my router. This Router just surpasses my expectation. Of course, with this powerful router, I also needed to update my modem. Speed? It delivers. Range, no problem! Ease of use, you got it. Is it price accordingly? I believe so. Mobile app is very user-friendly, easy to set up even for an old guy like me. Get this router and you wont be disappointed.

Very high quality fast router. Packed with features and great range. Gives ability to use link aggregation to bind both gig eth ports on my arris 3.1 modem for faster speeds. It’s big though lol. Can’t go wrong with ASUS products

So I purchased this router to replace my RT-5300 after experiencing several issues with my home network I felt this was the device that needed to be replaced especially With the kids online now for school I need a dependable connection for them. I choose to use the RT-5300 as a mesh node to extend the 5g WiFi network . Note no one tells you this but only one of the 5g networks is actually used with imesh. Also the second 5 g network is able To achieve a longer distance than the 5g1 network. . When I tested the router speeds on each on the three networks I found that they were very strong but when I stepped outside the door the 5 ghz were fine but the 2.4 ghz would drop extremely. And I mean all the way down to less than 3 gbps From 500 with my Rt- 5300 I had no problem connecting any where outside of my house . I checked the internet for anyone having these issues and found some had but not many . First I disabled the AX settings and a few others but no charge to my speed problems next Using my MacBook Pro built in network diagnostics I seen there was a few problems . One being the quality of signal was good but the noise and RSS were almost at the same signal. One should be higher than the other . I went into the router wireless settings and changed the 20/40 to 40 after seeing most my neighbors were using 20 . Now the speed was back but the distance of the 2.4 was not as equal as the RT5300 . This is not important for most people who have the latest and greatest devices but for me and my kids who have a ps3 and switch it would be. I really love this router but wanted to share with you all that yes this router rocks yes it has the same challenges as the competitors that cost 100 more but it is easy to fix if you have the expertises. If you don’t here is a link that shows some of the fixes and challenges that some of us have shared to help you all . https://www.snbforums.com/threads/rog-rapture-gt-ax11000-experiences-discussion.50396/page-24 Hope this helped and Yes ASUS is the only brand I will purchase for home use after owning them all and working in networking since the tennis shoe network. So before you take it back make the change to either 20 or 40 on the 2.4 network you will be happy you did

I recently switched to fiber optic internet service and was looking for a better router than the one provided by the ISP. I had used Asus routers in the past and was happy with their performance, so I purchased this GT-AXE11000 and I couldn’t be happier. The WiFi coverage extends throughout the house and surrounding perimeter with a full strength signal. There are no connection problems with our dozens of smart devices, and we are achieving top speeds regardless of how many things we are downloading and uploading at the same time. I would recommend this router to anyone who can’t afford to sacrifice speed and performance!

I bought this router to replace my Linksys AC1900 and the only issue I have had was installing my printer. The HP software would not get the correct IP address of the printer, The software would recognize the router's IP address as the printer's. The coverage is great throughout my home, no dead spots. It is easy to configure once you learn how to use the mobile device app. I have not had any issues like with my Linksys would drop the WIFI signal from time-to-time or cause me to reboot it after it stops responding. I have approximately 15 items connected wireless and have not had any buffering issues. My PC seems to be running much better too.

I performed the 30/30/30 reset first without a Wan connection. Then used the Asus Router app for setup after connection the Wan via Cat 8. Afterwards, I installed the latest firmware for my model. Did the 30/30/30 again. I connected using my computer and changed the settings. The uninitiated may be intimidated, but use the reset button and try again. Asus and Google provide excellent information. My WiFi 6 devices connect at 1200mbps, and speed tests at 510mbps on a 400mbps plan. A DOCSIS 3.1 modem is recommended. Gaming setup is easy with point and click. I had a Netgear X8, and couldn't wait for their product to get in stock. Thanks BB.

Highly recommend this router, I have owned it almost a year now and it has performed most excellent. In fact it's so good I purchased the Netgear orbi Wi-Fi 6e system and returned it to go back to this router as it is way more stable and reliable and still fast enough. Have gig service and wired devices achive 900mbs to 1gb and wifi 6 devices achieve 600mbs roughly at close proximity to router and 300mb at 50ft away through walls.

I had high expectations for this router and it has exceeded them in every way! First off, it looks fantastic...but who cares....right? It is blazing fast with three channels. The signal is strong through out my entire 2800sf house. Setup is easy and I absolutely love the app interface. They call this a gaming router, I call it an essential router!

I am not a pro at network stuff. I am very simple, yet struggled to stop simple lags from my gaming experience until I bought this WiFi router. I even got fiber internet but never seemed to be pleased so I tried this one. It works like magic, plug and play and it is easy to configure WiFi name and password. With this WiFi router connected , I was able to login into my att modem app to setup and track data usage per device. It is impressive how mesh compatibility works smoothly. So far no problems, and I am happy with my purchase!

Amazing router. Was gonna go with Netgear AX11000 but it was sold out and 200 more. I figure I gave ASUS ax11000 a try. And it is amazing, glad I picked this and also saved 200. Speed test on ASUS AC5300 was around 500mbps, with the AX11000, I hit over 800 mbps. Only time will tell but so far so good. Currently using Comcast 1 gig speed.

This is by FAR the absolute BEST WIFI 6 router on the market currently for home/small business needs! Couple this with a Motorola MB8611 modem and boy look out!! Highly recommended!!! Add on a additional ASUS RT-AX86U through Aimesh and you will have the absolute best WIFI experience you have ever seen! I’m blown away!

Nice intuitive app to use with this. Setup was a breeze. This router has a lot of options to select. It has a special game channel for gamers. I have about 20 devices connected to it, and it manages all of them without any problem. This is a great router!

This is one of the best routers I have ever used, amazing range and so many options if yoy are a gamer. The 2.5g connection is going right to my PC, and I have port trunking (link aggregation) from my Netgear modem.

After longtime Netgear fan, I got to say Asus got game! But overall I will just advice to anyone to look for Location. Like looking for a house..router needs Location location…Google it and look for the best choice that fit your need …look for any equipment that will cause interference on your signal and performance. I did a change on location and everything is so far a great experience.

I have owned 3 ASUS routers. 2 of the 3 failed shortly after the warranty expired. The latest (GT-AX11000) was 5 days out of warranty. And interestingly, it failed after tech support had me change some settings. Both routers could not connect to internet. The earlier model was basically an earlier version of this current model. Additionally, tech support is very offshore (this is significant) and hit and miss in expertise. When it misses as mine did, it was a $450 disaster, ready for the garbage pickup. One more thing: ASUS is really pushing diagnostics and service…wonder why? Hmmm. Mess up support & then make money on diagnostics and repair.

I upgraded from my Asus GT-AC5300. This did not disappoint. It extended my reach, was easy to set up and looks awesome. Tried a Netgear in between and was disappointed. Definitely sticking with Asus.
