Excellent WiFi router for price. It has a 2.5gigabit wan port as well as a dedicated 2.5 gigabit port for a device. I have it hooked up to a 24 port 10 gig switch and I am getting excellent throughput from my ISP. This is one of the only routers on the market that have 2 2.5G ports. WiFi range is very good as well. The first Speedtest it wired, and the second is on WiFi from an iPhone 13pro max.

This router was the easiest router I’ve ever had to setup. Access to the OS via my phone from anywhere means I manage devices, etc from anywhere. Tripled my wifi speed on 5ghz. Isolation capability for devices so you can keep home security and smart devices on 2.4 and devices that require a higher demand but not necessarily a large horizontal signal on 5. The LEDs are overkill but that’s ROG class products for you. All in all I’m very happy with this router.

So far this router has been excellent. Setup was a breeze, and speeds have been as advertised. The coverage has also been great. For wired connections it has 3 regular ports, 1 specialized gaming port, and a fast 2.5G port. It also has a couple of USB ports. The web interface to configure the router is very robust, lots of settings to play with and let's you set up your network exactly how you want.

I was scared I made the wrong decision not getting a WiFi 6E router, but this thing is a beast. The wifi signal reaches throughout my 1100 square foot apartment, and performance is consistent in the games I play (cs2 / overwatch). A god tier device compared to google fiber pucks. I'm only using the 1GB google fiber with this even though I could get 2.

For some reason this router wouldn't allow me to pull my full upload speeds. I've tried everything and nothing seems to solve this problem. I've seen some people on reddit having the same issue. BestBuy will look at my returns and think it's just me but the product isn't living up to the hype. I have Verizon Fios Gigabit and I'm able to pull the full speed on my Netgear XR1000.

Excellent router, with no change in service provider, this router removed our online gaming issues and remote work (lag with remote desktop application). With a connection averaging speeds of between 10 to 20 Mbps we are able to game online or work remotely with splashtop remote access. Software. Wi-Fi coverage in 2 story home is three time further than verizon provided lte home router. Setup is easy, software is great. Would highly recommend router to others. Worth the money. Latency is significantly better, before router some applications would not load, time out and throw an error code, with new router they load almost instantaneously.

Recently purchased this router and so far happy with it. Even though upgrading to wifi 6 is nice, I really got this thing for the two 2.5gig wan/lan ports. I have 1.2gig speed internet service, so I wanted to take advantage of it the best I could. So far, everything works like a charm. Range on wifi 6 is excellent and better than my old router. This product is pricey, but there aren’t many routers with 2.5gig ports, let alone two of them.

Best router ever I've used it for many purposes as a router for a home internet and it covered my entirety of the house. But also as a repeater and the nice thing is you can separate the repeated signal under its own name to make a small network for your gaming devices. After the latest software update it ironed out all the cons and now its just a great router with no downside.
Freaking awesome fast fast fast and every bell and whistle you can imagine.Very easy to set up and get running.I love this router. It is very big but it's because of the 16 cylinder engine under the hood lol Definitely not cheap but if you have the extra cash to invest into it,i would get it again in a heartbeat.

This thing performs fantastic! 2,500 sq ft house and no issues. Some complained of the look, I kind of like it. Customizable lighting. Easy set up, and user friendly app. I blew a breaker and had wifi back in less than a minute after returning power. Nothing bad to say here.

Just got this up and running. While i had the ax86u for a few years and it was excellent, upgrading to this i am getting faster download speeds (over 100 mbps more real world on my devices) and fast connecitivity overall. Range is boosted, although the ax86u was no slouch.

Two words... Buy this! Awesome coverage and speed plus Wi-Fi 6. No hiccups and dead spots as of writing this. Paired this with a previous Asus router for complete mesh coverage. Asus makes setup so easy and with the app, changes are a no brainer. This router is powerful.

I wanted to replace an Asus AC3100 with a router that was capable of AX for a select number of new devices (iphone 13's). The previous one was fantastic with excellent range (two slow spots in the house) for a 3,400 square foot house and almost never required a reboot. Extremely happy so far. The range seems to be very similar but I am now getting slightly faster speeds on all 5ghz legacy devices as well as significantly more speed with AX devices. The router has been stable and I have not has to reboot once since I turned it on. I love Asus routers plus you do not have to pay additional fees for some of the features like other brands. Please note, that the previous Asus router before the AC3100 was terrible but I am glad I kept with them. Sometimes you just get a bad one.

Works well. Delivers over 1 gigabit speed with Charter Spectrum. Charter overprovisions the 1gig plan by 1100megabits/per sec. If you have a cable modem that has a 2.5gig port with Charter, you can get the overprovisioned speeds with this router. Currently I am pulling down 1060mb/s with steam and blizzard downloads. So I am getting 120mb/s extra with this router vs spectrums rental. Not to mention this thing is eons more powerful than what spectrum gives out. Well worth the upgrade if you want to eek out more speed from your Charter gigabit plan.

I generally like this router. It has a much better processor than my previous router and gives me the speeds I need when directly connected. My first complaint is that the range of 2.4g and 5g both struggle reaching the TV in the room directly below it (approx 10ft away with just a floor/ceiling separating them). Second complaint is whatever this sketchy Trend Micro third party data collection is. It doesn't need to be there, and doesn't give me a whole lot of faith in security when it comes to personal information. Come on, Asus, you can do better.

A tremendous router! I have always used Asus networking products due to their excellent products, high quality, great technical support, & continued firmware support with support of third party firmware. A very powerful router full of features. I love the incorporation of the Trend Micro Security too at no additional cost. Great range, fast, supports up to 2.5G with 2 ports dedicated to that speed. Bigger than what I am used to but you can tell about the high quality of it. Recommend it without hesitation!

WOW!!! Is all I have to say about this fine piece of machinery! Bought 2 and set up the Aimesh feature. Blazing fast, full signal anywhere inside the house, front yard and back yard! You WILL NOT regret your purchase!! Very highly recommended! BTW this is a DUAL BAND router (2.5GHz & 5GHz) NOT a TRI BAND as listed in the Best Buy description but I was well aware of this before my purchase being that I did my proper research on this product before purchasing as I do on anything I buy now a days. Go get this today!
