I removed a star because there are quite a few settings you have to change to get this monitor working as advertised 270hz and act displaying a good picture on display. I almost returned it, but Reddit posts had fixes and saved me from having to return the monitor (ASUS tech support had said it was not fixable and a characteristic of the monitor). The first major fix was to change a few settings to eliminate bright white distortions on black/ dark scenes. Attaching a picture of what it looked like before setting were changed which affected black/ dark scenarios. Colors are great, quick, and I have not noticed any screen tearing. The stand is really nice and I like the home slot. Charging USB-c seems outdated because the wattage is low. The rgb light isn’t that noticeable when the room is lit, since it is on the back, but it’s like a night lite in the dark. I would recommend this with an instruction book on changing the settings.

Got on sale for $299, great monitor for the price. Easy to hook up, settings are sort of hard to understand if you aren't monitor savvy. The monitor does flicker periodically at 270hz, which you are advised of when you switch to it. I had problems initially with FreeSync as it caused flickering and visual artifacts at 240hz, but was fine at 270 and anything lower that 240. I have a Nvidia card, and once FreeSync was turned off, I have yet to have any more of the visual problems happening. Outside of that, I would recommend the monitor. It has a good range of monitor settings you can tinker with. Picture quality is amazing and feels very smooth for gaming.

Everything about this monitor is good, if you're looking for a smooth work monitor this is one of the best, screen moves in all direction and no complaints about the built quality at all, however 2 major issues: 1. I believe it uses a cheap VRR panel as when you Play games w Gsync on, the display flickers real bad, Gsync off the game works fine however not expected from a $400 monitor 2. DP cable only goes to max 240hz incl OC, no idea why 270 is marketed Go for it if you use Freesync/Amd sync while gaming, for Nvidea processors, I highly recommend switching off Gsync

[Employee of bestbuy] Hdmi 2.1 , usb c charge phone 1440p 270hz. Elmb for motion. Nice adjustible stand overall I recommend it for price got two of them

Awesome monitor for 1440p gaming at high refresh rates. HDR provides vivid colors and high brightness. The stand can rotate and raise or lower. The emblem on the back is RGB.

The 270Hz refresh rate feels extremely fast and responsive, especially in competitive games. Motion looks very smooth and input feels instant. Colors and overall image quality are also great thanks to the IPS panel. The only issue I noticed is when going from dark areas to bright areas in games, there is a noticeable delay/ghosting effect which can be annoying at times. Other than that, the monitor performs really well.

The unit I received had very bad backlight bleed on the bottom center-left as well as all 4 corners. But the bottom center-left is the worst I’ve seen and even noticeable in non-dark scenes. Very bright and a great picture otherwise. Also like the stand design except it doesnt go quite as high as I’d like

It says it's 280hz, but they lie that it's actually 270hz with texts it’s $450 ASUS ROG Strix 27” 4K HDR Gaming Monitor (XG27UCG-W) 320hz $429

For the price you can not go wrong . Color is pretty decent , sharp and great for gaming and minor photo editing. Most definitely worth the price

For the the price this monitor is amazing it’s the sweet spot for 1440p gaming , ips glow is something you will never escape but in the panel it’s easy to adjust your viewing angle and never see it

At max it can set at 270 FPS OC a very nice display overall

Love this monitor, it has a great pic and refresh rate! I would recommend if you are gamer pick this one up!

Screen is fading almost to black during gameplay, once I reset the monitor it returns to normal. Happen about once every 10mgames or so
