I added this hardwired to my fios router to a basement dead spot and the results are great. New coverage area fills the basement and speeds are consistent in the whole area I use it. The software setup took a few goes to get locked in correctly, but its been a champ since then.

It’s working good and faster… I have another one before, it’s running slow… I bought the new one and it is running good and faster… Wi-Fi connecting with second floor and around the house very quickly…but you have to set it up directly to your carrier network such as: T-mobile, At&T, Xfinity….

I've got a decent-sized house (about 2,000 sq ft) with thick walls and a spotty Wi-Fi signal in the back rooms from my old ASUS router. Heard about Wi-Fi 7 being the future, so I grabbed this RP-BE58 extender to boost coverage without replacing everything. It's white, plugs right into the wall like a nightlight, and doesn't look too out of place. Overall, if you're extending an existing ASUS setup or just need reliable range without bells and whistles, this is a winner. Took me a weekend to get perfect, but now it's rock-solid. Would buy again, but maybe wait for a sale if AiMesh is your main goal

[Employee of bestbuy] About the extender: the overall setup is very easy, build quality is excellent and the best thing is it works very well with my WiFi 7 router that isn’t even asus. Pros: you can download the app and set it up via app, if you have the asus router you can set it up way easier with that, speeds are excellent, range is even better, and I just love how easy it is to troubleshoot and update the extender Cons: only cons I can think of is the app at the time of this review is a little buggy, but overall operable.

Phenomenal router mesh syatem replacing Orbi that had limited configuration and constant SSIDs drops. This system has been rock solid aince it was placed into service and all kids and wife are happy with the performance.

I would give it 5 stars if the AP mode setup instructions were a little clearer. In AP mode it talks to your router via an Ethernet cable. But, you have to set it up via WiFi without the cable connected. After thinking about it, this make sense but it could have been cleared in the instructions.

Very good! Took me a while to set it up, only because I misread the instructions. After I did it CORRECTLY, it set up in a flash! Works like a charm, especially for streaming.

As adding some Govee smart lights and wanted to insure they always had a great connection. The area outside was just in the cusp of the 2 other mesh nodes and thus allowed an easy fix for a great price compared to another mesh router. Easy to setup and now takes load off the other nodes that would normally be spotty especially outdoor cameras.

This hooked up to my router almost seamlessly, but I've since replaced it with a BE58-Go travel router. Both devices are easy to manage with the ASUS Extender or Router app, and I will recommend checking for firmware updates regularly. You can even upload firmware that you download from ASUS's Download Center manually too, which is convenient.

I hesitated because of other reviews and honestly struggled at first with connecting it but realized I could easily add it as a node and havent had a single issue since, good range and puts out good speed. Most reviews mentioned having a disconnect issue when main router reboots or updates but I have not experienced this at all.

This is great! My kids told me to get this and I am so glad I did. Our exterior walls are 6 inch cement with chicken wire and it was compromising our wi-fi reception for outdoor cameras, phones, TVs etc. This fixed everything annd it was so easy. Absolutely no problems now. I am very happy.

Boosted signal immediately when we were experiencing issues with router extender working properly.

Had a little trouble configuring over the air (AirMesh), then noted they recommended wired. Reset and boom! Worked. Simplified my WiFi connectivity. Wife and kids no longer complain about having to change SSIDs

I'm using it with an older ASUS ZenWiFi XT9 mesh. Basically to get a better connection for the Roku TV that lives mostly in 3 season room; but I also move it outside for movie/baseball watching from our pool. No issues getting it integrated and the connection has been great!

This definitely helped improve my WiFi expansion in my home and expanded my network and i love the backhaul feature which allowed me to hardwire Ethernet to it from my main router.

Easy to install. Works seamlessly with mesh system already in place to provide coverage throughout the house.

With the app very easy to use. Seems to be stable and provides additional speed to a dead zone in the house. Like that it is a mesh not just an extender.

Bought this extender to go with my “ASUS - RT-BE82U BE6500 Router.” Setup was simple using the ASUS Router app. Only a couple of steps through the app, and then let the extender complete setup, update firmware on its own. After setup was complete, I moved it to the basement and have excellent performance. No complaints and would buy again.
