Mild cozy gamer here gaming laptop far exceeded my needs. I have had the Asus TUF A15 laptop for a few weeks now and I am thoroughly impressed. I can say this is a truly excellent gaming laptop. Plays big ticket games with high graphics beautifully. My husband Tekken 8 online with no issues or lag. The display is high quality colors are accurate and top tier graphics. The GPU runs smooth even at high graphical presets. The keyboard is backlit, so you can use it easily in a dark room. The WASD keys are highlighted. This has a very sleek design one and the keys feel is good. Num Lock doesn't have an indicator light, but the num pad still works great and it does give you one screen display when turned on and off. Battery life is good for non-gaming use. For gaming usage you will want it plugged in, as gaming will drain the battery quickly and die pretty quick on you after the low battery warning. The dual 83 blades fans are noisy at startup and high usage doesn't bother me but something to consider. Decent 8gb RAM and 512gb SSD, but a few Crucial upgrades could make it a powerhouse. All in all the Asus A15 is built tough, has high performance, and the graphics are fantastic 8/10 for me at several weeks in.

Overall for the price it’s a solid system. Had to install an extra ram stick but was an easy fix. This laptop now can handle heavy gaming and run other apps in the background. My only complaint is that the fans can get really loud but if I have headphones I don’t notice anymore. Glad I purchased.

If all you wanna do is play indie games this things great, the screens brightness can be a hindrance at times but the 144hz at this price is hard to beat.

I purchased 2 because my boyfriend and I needed an every day computer, this looked good enough. I had an Asus gaming laptop in the past and it did me good for years. This one is a little slow booting up and my boyfriend is having a werid issue with his device after an update where he has to wipe it now. I dont know if the brand went down in value, we just "got what you paid for" even though it was $600. I have these now and they are not even a year old. It plays world of warcraft but I wouldn't get these again.
