Great signal strength and easy to set up, issues with wifi7 and had to disable that part

Despite the not so good reviews, I decided to try the Asus BQ16 Pro. This was not an easy setup. The scan code at the bottom didn't work at first for auto setup. THat was no a good sign. I also tried manually. I've tried on both the iPhone and Android devices. After dozens of initial setup tries, the mobile app finally found the router. I still could not connect to the internet. The led was white for successful internet connection as mentioned in the instructions. Somehow, I stumbled on a page that required a firmware update. I thought finally, this should fix the issue. Nope! The router was found, I created a SSID successfully, but no internet connection even though the led was white. After 2 days of confusion, not internet connection and wasted time, I am returning this. It's to bad that Asus couldn't make it simple and easy to setup like Orbi, Eero and Tp-link. I never got this thing connected to the internet. I was hoping to try the free feature rich bundled software. I'll stay away from Asus. What a disappointment.

I hated at first but stuck with it because it was so fast. I can get 1700mbps with my iphone 16, and newer android phones and tablets. Even faster with notebooks. I doesnt work at first then it does. Start with a simple setup and do configuation backups. Very responsive ui. Setup all bands on the same sid. Use only the same model as nodes.
