$8 vrs $1,000 and $100 per year vrs $2,400 per year but over 2 years I can save $5.200 so I was able buy a 3bdr home and not buy the iPhone X. Ok I admit the house is a little small and I have to do yard work but my future is a little brighter. The size of my cell phone is the same size as the iPhone X but my home is high and dry.

Excellent smart cell phone with capabilities that satisfy the primary needs to surf in networks and have many other things for a truly incredible price.

They probably filter out prices in reviews, but we paid a fifth of MSRP (single-digits) for a Black Friday deal, and yes, the rating is adjusted for that. If you pay full price for this phone, you will hate yourself. We got two of these for the kids, along with FreedomPop's free plan, and that's about all this phone is suitable for. Trust me, do not buy it for yourself. It's not worth the frustration even if they gave it away. I can't complain about the fact that everything (screen, camera, processor, speakers, etc.) is bottom-of-the-barrel. YGWYPF. What I will complain about is bloatware. 8GB (plus SD slot) should be enough for light users. But even with zero aftermarket apps or files on the phone, it's full after the first round of updates. You can't delete any of the biggest apps, which also means you can't move them to the SD card. We have to clear cached data on an almost daily basis just to keep it running. If you're comfortable rooting it, you could definitely fix that issue, but if you're that kind of power-user, you probably don't want to deal with all the other shortcomings. Last, but not least, on one of the two phones, the home and recent apps nav buttons at the bottom stopped working after two months of light use. Thank God the back button still works, or it would literally be a paperweight. Probably just a matter of time...

I bought this phone because of the low price point and the fact it had a newer build of Android. I'm definitely suffering the get what you pay for reality. Touchscreen is very nonresponsive. I have to swipe my finger multiple times just to switch between app tabs. Battery life is poor and storage is next to nothing. Phone has 8gb of internal memory and approximately 7.5gb of that is used by preloaded apps and software. Most of these cannot be fully uninstalled, but you can remove all updates in order to save some space. Basically, you aren't adding more than 3-4 apps total and that's assuming you don't store any music or pictures. The phone itself feels good in hand, and I have no issues with screen resolution. My advice though is to save up a bit more and get a better handset.

I always heard good things about Android from friends... I wanted to experience it first hand so got this one as a second phone and I am lovin-it. It’s smooth and intuitive to use the phone... easy to customize screen(s) & features the way I want... most importantly, super easy to manage my media & photos. Camera is very decent for phones this size & price. It’s only been 2 weeks but I think I love Android for letting me customize the phone for “me”!!!

I got this phone on a Black Friday deal for only $7.95, but even at the regular price I would have considered it a good deal. I use this phone with a FreedomPop SIM card as a second phone for running money-making apps (like Swagbucks, survey apps and apps that pay you to watch ads) and it works perfect for that purpose. There's limited internal storage, and the camera is not the best quality, but I consider both of those to be acceptable sacrifices for the extremely low price. The battery life is surprisingly good.

I had to get my twin daughters set up with cell phones and these are a great 1st phone option. Plenty quick and can do anything that they need without a hefty price tag. if something happens to either phone, I will pop into best buy and pickup a replacement for $30 !!! thanks best buy for having such an affordable option that works!!!

This AT&T Prepaid - ZTE Maven 3 4G with 8GB Memory Prepaid Cell Phone - Black is great value. It comes in a good size, not too small and not too big. The only draw back is that it has too many preloaded softwares that take up most of the 8GB storage capacity. I can only download 2 apps and already running very low on space. But overall, great device with an affordable price. Would recommend this as a back up phone.

Quite easy non-expensive phone. Answering calls, writing texts, browsing or watching a movie is easily done on this phone. RAM is little less if multiple apps are being run at the same time. Camera is Ok. If you are picture savvy person, need a better camera. If the phone is lost, won't feel bad coz of its price. Buy one as a second phone. Cannot be used all around world though as it does not support all bands.

We purchased this phone as a Christmas gift for my son. We weren't looking to spend a lot as this is his first cell phone. Cannot beat the price and the features it offers are more than enough for a 12 year old.

This phone is pretty much everything 90% of the population needs for a fraction of the Samsung/Google Price Tag (3/100). This phone may not be as pretty as an S9 or an Pixel 2, but it has the same Android “Bones” and basic functionality of the “big boys”. The battery lasts a long time. The storage is limiting, but pics, videos, texting, etc. are good enough to get the job done. And the price is ridiculously low. The only way to make this device cheaper would be if the company paid me to take it. Even if you are a phone snob, this phone makes a great emergency/back-up option.

I bought this phone at Best Buy on Black Friday. Giving this phone to my mother for Christmas she has an old flip phone this phone has a large screen and large size print and large size apps now she can use the Wawa apps and Dunkin Donut apps on her phone and pay for them without carrying her cards figured this would be the perfect gift for her for Christmas because she always wanted a smartphone

i bought this phone during thanksgiving to gift my brother, good for the price. phone navigates smooth, works only with AT&T sim card, we need Micro SD memory card (upto 32GB) for sure if you want to install any apps as phone has only 500 MB space left from 8 GB after initial setup of phone. it's good smart phone if you looking for low cost and budget smartphone with good features

First off, I don't use this item as a phone but rather as a small tablet. I have loaded about 12 different apps to check weather, news, and stream music with wifi. There is no more memory space for additional apps or updates. Plan on adding an optional micro SD card to put additional items on. I have an original Maven from a year ago and this model is a big improvement.

Purchased this as a starter phone at an incredible deal in November. I was curious and perhaps a bit skeptical, but it has been surprisingly reliable. Primarily using it with Wifi. It works really well with apps like Google Hangouts for messaging and calling. On board storage is almost non-existent, but there is the option of installing additional storage. Grab a low cost 32gb card and you are all set. Once you have the storage sorted out, you can download pretty much any app from the Google Play Store, play games, whatever. Camera is not the best, but to be honest it is pretty amazing that you can get a digital camera at this cost!

As a ZTE phone owner & fan I bought this phone & gave it as a gift to a phoneless acquaintance. Feedback was "great little phone " . I do not have the personal experience with the model but do respect the brand as tremendous value leader.

This is a small phone and works for ATT prepaid only. Don't expect bells and whistles with this phone. However, it you want a small form factor (5 inches is small in year 2017), then this will fit the budget. I bought this in Thanksgiving for a cheap price and surprised by the features for the price. Overall a good price for a decent phone.

Let's be real. This was a cheap o phone and I don't expect it to last forever. It does what it's supposed to do. My hubby is in construction work and goes through about 3 of these a year. They are cheap enough to replace as necessary and he can also make the calls, place the texts and read the news as he wants. Good enough for us.
