I am so glad I did research on various players and the reviews on this one. I started out looking at the Victrola given the lower price range and the cute retro style suitcase. But, I also wanted a quality player even if it meant going up in price. The Audio Technica meets everything I was looking for. Granted, its not in a suitcase, but I quickly got over that. Had it a day and so far its great! Easy set up. Instructions could use a bit of explanation. But, you figure it out in no time. Smooth play, no skipping. I bought the bundle with the Bob Marley LP. I grew up with a record player in the house. This is the first time I own one and its the best nostalgic experience! No regrets.

My first and only vinyl player I’ve ever owned. Has been such a pleasant experience using it. Setup was simple. Output, you have options! Since I already use a soundbar at my workstation that has BT, I wanted a player with BT, as well. Can see hear the vinyl perfections and imperfections. I keep the needle cover on the stylus head and lid down whenever I’m not spinning. Make sure you also buy a cleaning kit (felt brush, solution, anti-static brush) to clean your discs to extend life of the stylus needle. Would buy again and highly recommended to novice vinyl collectors, looking for an upper-mid-range vinyl player.

100% recommend even if you’re just starting out collecting Vinyl. The set up was super easy (looked up a tutorial on YouTube of the same model) even though this was my first time ever setting up a record player. This thing is made of good quality and built like a tank! Even setting up my active bookshelf speakers was super easy (I paired the Klipsch R-15PM Powered Monitor speakers). Don’t be intimidated by the size, it’s a quality turn table that’s built to last. Also even though the specs say that this doesn’t come with a cartridge it actually does, I can confirm that when I got mine. All you will need is some good active speakers and you are set! My records sound beautiful on this beast :)

This is the nicest turntable I have ever owned, and I have had several in the past. Excellent sound quality! Controls are very easy to use, Out of the box you do half to set it up. It has several ways to use it. It has a pre-amp and standard output. So you can use it on any type of stereo head unit. Also you can hook it up directly to your computer. You can Bluetooth directly to speakers as well. This is important, make sure you balance the tonearm correctly. If you do not it can bounce / skip when playing your record. The manual tells you the proper way to do this or watch a video online. It's easy to do. For most people these things I listed below will not be a problem. Just things that slightly bug me. There is no instruction on how to turn off the Bluetooth pairing. So I will tell you. There is a Bluetooth button on the right side on the turntable. Directly above this button a light will flash red/blue. It does this everytime you turn on the power for turntable. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button for about 10 seconds. It will stop flashing and turn off. The hinges for the dust cover are plastic. They should be metal. But, so far no problems with them. The RCA cable that comes with the turntable is cheap and short. I highly recommend buying a quality one. The power cord is also short, should be longer. Everything else is excellent! I love this turntable!

Recently got into collecting records and figured it was time to actually get something to play them. This is my first turn table and I am not disappointed at all! Sound is incredible. Set up was relatively easy following a YouTube video, and I love that I have the option of wired speakers or Bluetooth as well.

Excellent turntable…. Easy to put together, great sound. Looks great out in the open. Used to belt drives the direct drive is superior for sure.

I’d been wanting to get a new turntable with Bluetooth for a while in order to listen to my old vinyl. Audio-Technica has always made quality products, but the ATLP120XBT exceeded my expectations. This is a high quality turntable that is reminiscent of Marantz units in the 80s, but the added bonus of wireless connectivity makes listening even more enjoyable. Fast set up, high quality materials, a very good cartridge, and direct drive, all make this an excellent value. Best Buy no contact pick up was flawless.

I usually return things because they don't workout like the Fluence RT82 and Ortofon 2m Blue, but this Audio-Technica ATLP120XBT turntable is a keeper. Reason being is the way it works well with my Onkyo TX-NR696 AV Receiver. When I turn on this turntable it automatically connects via Bluetooth and turns on my AV Receiver. Also I purchased a Audio-Technica AT-XP3/H Headshell/Cartridge Combo Kit for a more punchy sound and higher MV. Finally I am more happier with BESTBUY than with AMAZON when it comes to electronic gadgets.

I really enjoyed the ease of setup and operation of this turntable. It's been decades since I last had one and it was fun to put my old records back on. And they still sound great! My only quibble is that with higher volume, the bass from the speakers gets amplified through the stylus causing a low rumble. I understand that this is an issue with turntables in general so I really can't say how this one compares to others.

Short and sweet review: If you've done your homework and are on the fence about which TT to get, I think you are very safe with this one. You can read the specs and the reviews, most are very good. However, the main thing is this: When you get it, be very calm and patient and set up your tone arm to get the best out of it. The balance, the weight and the anti-skating adjustments are very important. Technics claims the cartridge come aligned. I checked mine - it was perfect. There are You Tube videos on this to help you along. Use it for a while before you consider upgrading the stylus or cartridge. The one included is not bad at all for the average person. You can't go wrong with this model.

So happy with my choice on this turntable. Professional reliability at an affordable price point. Great value, quality build. Bluetooth pairings work seamlessly. This has renewed my love for spinning vinyl

Hi everyone, if you’re considering purchasing a high‑quality turntable with Bluetooth, analog, and digital capabilities, I highly recommend this one. I’ve been using it and absolutely love it — it’s smooth, quiet, sleek, and visually impressive.

I had a regular record player with some of my favorite records to which I thought sounded good. I then went to a friends house and noticed he had the same record playing but it sounded waaaayyyyy better than the one I had. He told me that I should get this record player and I did. Absolutely worth the money!!

Pretty nice turntable. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Build quality is solid, doesn't feel cheap like some lower end turntables on the market. Has lots of features like Bluetooth and USB connection. Sounds pretty good with my klipsch speakers. Just getting into vinyl and wanted a middle of the road turntable and this one delivers.

New to turntables and vinyl, this is definitely a great investment. Easy to setup with included instructions. I looked up a video to ensure I was doing everything right as turntables can be delicate. Easy to connect the bluetooth and it reconnects every time without issue. You can uprgade components as well but it definitely isn’t necessary!

This turntable replaces a 1975 turntable that was still working but this one tracks at a lower weight than the previous one (2 grams). The setup took a little while, but when it was done it worked well with no issues. I have used this right along and it works great. Sound is very good and clean. The cartridge that comes with it is a good one. I have noticed a big improvement in sound compared to the older turntable. Audio-Technica makes a nice product and there headphone sound great too.

I plan to use this turntable with a vintage mid-1970s Sansui 9090 reciever. It has a retro look to it. Right now I am using a cheap stereo amp into vintage Bose 901s. This turntable works beautifully! I don't mind that it isn't fully automatic, but it would be nice if it had automatic off at the end of a side. But, the record store informed me that, as a DJ turntable, none of them have any automatic features.

This player replaced my Audio Technica from 1983. I knew the old girl was on her last legs but didn't realize how much audio quality had been lost until I qued up the first album. I purposely chose one from the 1960's. The lack of hiss and pop was immediately noted along with the rich full sound. Records that used to skip now don't and I am back to enjoying the music of my youth. The only down side is the arm will not auto return, other than that this is a cherished investment. Excited to utilize the blue tooth to now record and preserve my library spanning decades.

Amazing sounding turntable. I own a Michelle Gyrodec turntable too and the audio technica does about 70% of that turntable which cost $6k

Good Entry to Mid level turntable. I purchased this to build out a HI-FI system for my home. Overall build quality is good with a couple extras. Clamshell comes with stylus. There is a built in pre amp, which is great if your receiver doesn’t have a phono one. Also has basic wires so you can use all the other options, which is cool if want to load your vinyl to a computer. The Bluetooth option has a pretty long reach, about 30 ft, headphones and portable speakers sound good. The last of the extras come in the form of the light to help you make sure you can get the right track. Once it was all hooked up and tone arm balance, great sound. Once I hooked it up to the amp, speakers, etc, had a problem of it coming out of one speaker. Fear not, the staff at audio technica helped me trouble shoot everything and are now sending me a new stylus as that was determined to be the issue. It does stink that I only had the thing for a month but the customer service is fantastic. They responded quickly same day to test and then by next morning the parts department was looking to ship a new stylus. Can’t say that about my local store, but this a case of you get what you pay for, I will stick AT moving forward.
