Versatile little amp!
I installed the Audiocontrol ACM-1.300 in my 2024 VW Golf GTI. I have the Autobahn trim level which comes with the Harmon Kardon system. I was happy with the sound system’s performance, except for the subwoofer. I ended up pairing the ACM-1.300 with a JBL Stadium Basshub spare tire subwoofer. This resolved the lackluster bass response that the OEM system had. Total night & day difference. Bass is more than enough now, it gets pretty loud, & you can definitely feel it. I had to add sound deadener in the hatch area to keep some resonance at bay. The fact that this amp acts as a LOC and doesn’t need a remote wire is great, really helps with making the installation easier. The AccuBass feature does an awesome job of not letting the bass drop off at higher volume levels. Once you set it, this feature works seamlessly. This feature alone is the main reason I purchased this amp. The bass dropping off at higher volumes with the OEM amp & sub was very annoying. Now I can turn the volume as loud as I want & the sub volume just keeps going up. I can’t recommend this amp enough. It has a great set of OEM integration features, & it’s quite compact. I was able to install it under the floor board of my car, right behind the rear seats. Pros -Very compact -Makes rated power (more than enough for my application) -Great set of OEM integration features Cons -Non for me (some may say price, but you get a good amount of tech in a very small chassis that makes integrating this into an OEM system a breeze)

Great addition to my Audi B&O system
I previously installed an infinite baffle (IB) sub in the shelf of my Audi S4 replacing the stock sub and was powering it using the stock B&O amplifier. It was a nice upgrade but I knew I could get more out of the IB sub by adding an amp. After researching I landed on this AudioControl amp based on feedback from others. It was easy to install and is able to use the speaker signal from the stock subwoofer so you don’t have to purchase a separate LOC. The latest version also has a sub level control output, which is not shown in the current Best Buy photos but is what I wanted and received. The increased sub output is pretty significant. I’m in my mid-40s so no longer trying to wake the neighbors with my music, but I still enjoy plenty of rock and rap and this amp together with an IB sub is perfect for me.
