The AudioQuest HDMI 90°/N Adapter is designed to navigate tight spaces where HDMI cables may otherwise be difficult to connect. This narrow-side bend adapter allows an HDMI cable to make a sharp turn while maintaining a secure, high-quality connection. Ideal for home theater setups, wall-mounted TVs, and tight entertainment centers, this adapter reduces strain on HDMI ports and ensures a stable signal transmission for uninterrupted viewing.
Q: Once plugged in, how far out from the HDMI plug does this adapter stick out?
A: It's about 1/2 inch the TV was recessed by the HDMI ports so this was a flush mount with a bit of room to spare.
A: You need to look as to why it doesn’t fit. In my situation I had to use one of these (to ensure I could get the TV as close to the wall when mounted) and I had to add an extension to ensure it cleared the backside of the TV (as the port was recessed). I’m sure if you either take a picture of your situation and take it to best buy, they could help you out. Or, you can try to figure out what you need and go from there. You can find many adapters at Best Buy and online if needed. Good luck!
A: Yes it does support it
A: In principal, the use of any adapter is a compromise. However, this adapter uses high quality materials and the amount of compromise is so small as to be inconsequential. I would be surprised if anyone could see or hear a difference with and without the adapter.
Q: I have a less than 1 ' space to plug this into my TV due to hanging rack. Would this fit?
A: It only sticks out about a half inch from the tv so I’d say yes
A: Yes that’s the same problem I had and it worked great
A: They have an adapter for older tv’s that will work it a HDMI to RCA adapter , They sell it on Amazon for about 13 dollars they may sell it at Best Buy also I just never looked.
