Q: This product seems awfully expensive for an HDMI cable. I'm sure it can do far more than just any standard 4K-capable HDMI, but does it really do THAT much more for media quality?

A: To be very honest, you are paying for the brand AND the quality behind the cable. Audioquest knows what they’re doing when they make a cable. I would put my money toward this HDMI cable compared to cheap Amazon HDMI cables, because at least with Audioquest…you know it will be well made, will perform exceptionally, and you will have the confidence of plugging it in and work like a real HDMI 2.1 cable should perform.

Q: I've been getting an HDCP error when I first start a movie on the Movies Anywhere app on my Roku. Speed on Roku is 160mbps, so don't understand what the problem is. Will this cable fix the problem?

A: That might be a tv setting problem. But if you buy this and it still gives you the error, I would either recommend looking at your HDMI tv settings and see if it shows “HDCP 2.2 or HDCP 2.3” and check to see if these are enabled…but if that doesn’t work, you may have an internal hardware issue with your tv. Also one other thing to check is to look in your tv user manual and see what HDMI ports you have on your tv. Example: (HDMI 1.4/HDMI 2.0/HDMI 2.1)

    Q: Is this good for a 2.1 AVR e-arc to a e-arc TV??

A: Yes will definitely work. Make sure your AVR also supports 4K HDR
