Features
  • Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ & Perfect-Surface Copper Conductors

Solid conductors prevent electrical strand-to-strand interaction, a major source of distortion. The smooth surface of AudioQuests conductor metals nearly eliminates harshness and greatly increases clarity compared to lesser materials.

  • Double Star-Quad Geometry

The relationship between conductors defines a cables most basic electrical values (capacitance and inductance). AudioQuests Double Star-Quad geometry is vastly superior to conductors run in parallel as well as to the more common twisted pairs, resulting in less distortion.

  • Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation System

This cables negative conductors are covered with partially conductive Carbon-Loaded Polyethylene, which prevents radio-frequency noise being fed back into the amplifier. The reduction in external interference results in clearer sound and greater dimensionality.

  • Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation

Most common insulation materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and then released as distortion. With its high air content and benign distortion profile, AudioQuests Foamed-Polyethylene causes much less of the out-of-focus effect common to other materials.

  • Direction-Controlled Conductors

A fundamental aspect of AudioQuest's multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors assure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly.

  • Enhance Your Listening Experience

Rocket 44 Speaker Cable with Single BiWire configuration delivers clean and clear sound, thanks to its Perfect-Surface Copper+ conductors, reducing harshness and optimizing your audio system's potential.

  • Clarity and Dynamics for Home Audio

Experience outstanding clarity and depth in your home audio system. Perfect-Surface Copper and Carbon-Based Noise Dissipation ensure a cleaner, clearer, more naturally dynamic sound for music or vinyl playback.

    Incredible results

Absolutely worth it, I was one of those skeptics who believed that cables don’t matter and a basic 12ga speaker cable is good enough……I was so wrong. I upgraded my speakers from my old Polk towers to ML 60xti’s and I was not much impressed with the ML. I decided to gamble on cables and went with rocket 44 for fronts. I installed the cables and used them for 30 days before doing any critical listening. After 30 days I did a blind test with two family members where I switched rocket 44 with regular 12 ga monoprice speaker cables. Rocket 44 was a hands down winner with all three of us. We could hear instruments which we could never hear before, movies were even more better with better overall surround sound integration and bass was pronounced and tight. Even my older polks started sounding better. Cables are solidly built as well. Overall I got better return by upgrading my cables than I got from upgrading to a 5k speaker set. I am not sure if this improvement came from actually better cables or from fact that these cables are bi-wiring ( see pictures), nevertheless the difference is more than substantial for me to keep these. My setup: denon 4300 with emotiva xpa5 amp with Martin Logan 60xti, 50xti and also polk rti 12’s. I must say if you have decent speakers and receiver you got to try these. Best Buy has very good rerun policy on these. Now, I am in the process of upgrading all my cables and rca connects to either rocketquest or silver serpent cables. I am miffed that I did not do this earlier, this is not snake oil as many people in online forums say, you have to try these.

    Phenomenal Product!

The AudioQuest Rocket 44 does everything it advertises and more. I upgraded my stereo system of 20 years and needed a high-quality cable to transmit from my new Cambridge Edge A amplifier to the Bowers & Wilkins 702 S3 speakers. I first started with the AudioQuest Rocket 11, and to be honest, the cables felt pretty basic for a high-end system. When I saw the price Best Buy was selling the Rocket 44s (nearly the same price) the upgrade was a no-brainer. The Rocket 44s are much better built, came shipped with protectors for each connection (I purchased the single bi-wire with silver banana plugs), and included cloths to clean the connectors and the cables. Overall, the presentation and packaging of the Rocket 44s was more commensurate to the level of my sound system and absolutely met my expectations when spending several hundred dollars on cables. Sound quality: I strongly recommend not judging harshly until 50-100 hours of use. I did notice an immediate improvement over the Rocket 11s (bass was deeper, sound was more consistent and coherent, highs and vocals were not as forward). However, after three weeks of listening, my wife and I really had the aha moment. It was like over the weekend, the full sound blossomed and the entire system came alive. Bass was deep, articulate, and coherent. Mids were razor-sharp and crisp with added weight, especially on heavy-distortion guitars. Highs were present and sparkling. On some tracks (Lady Gaga/Taylor Swift) the room danced with cymbals, high-hats, and finger snaps. We have a diverse taste in music in my house from pop, to classic rock, to metal (including death metal). I can say out of the three speaker cables we tried between $300-$1,000) these represent the best value and performance. The Rocket 44s presented a transparent, clear, and cohesive sound. Not one phase of the sound overshadowed the other and all sounds were present. Even my non-audiophile wife commented that in metal songs, she can pick and choose what instrument she wants to listen too. She admitted it's the first time she can clearly hear the bass player in bands like Gojira, Lamb of God, and Slayer. The Rocket 44s certainly added a level of depth and clarity to the music not audibly present in the "lesser" speaker cables. Obviously, make sure to buy a cable on-par with your system, but if you're considering an upgrade, I would highly recommend the Rocket 44s. I have not tried the Rocket 88s, but given my experience with AudioQuest, I would expect performance to be even better and more nuanced.

    Good Quality Speaker Cables.

Thick protective cording, good quality. Banana plugs fit snugly into the back of the receiver and the speakers. Have around 30 hours on them and other new gear recently purchased (Marantz Cinema 40, Wharfedale Elysian 2 speakers, Denon 1700NE cd player, Dual CS 618Q turntable). Not bragging or strutting my stuff, just saying for a reference point. Haven't noticed an enormous improvement in sound that blew me away; could be because everything in my new gear is getting broke in and it's all beginning to mesh. What I do notice is great sound from a demanding listener. 1k is a lot for speaker cables, but I don't regret buying them. No more wondering if I bought them if my system could sound better vs buying less expensive cords/wires. Yes, this was a good purchase.

    Get what you pay for

High quality cables with cleaner sound and superior build quality. Pricey cables but if you’re looking in this price range you know what you’re getting into. You buy once you cry once. Worth the money in my opinion.

AudioQuest Rocket 44 Bi-Wire shares several outstanding design elements with its award-winning sibling, the smaller-gauge Rocket 33, but improves overall performance with higher-purity conductor metal. Appropriate for biwireable speaker systems and terminated with high-quality silver-plated banana plugs, AudioQuest Rocket 44 Bi-Wire is a versatile high-performance speaker cable resolving enough for high-end audio systems and practical enough for most home entertainment systems. Rocket 44 uses a carefully finessed combination of AudioQuest’s excellent Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) and the company’s very best copper, Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+), in a Double Star-Quad configuration designed to reduce distortion for cleaner, clearer, more naturally detailed sound. Further, Rocket 44 features AudioQuest’s effective Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation, and, as with all AudioQuest cables, the conductors in Rocket 44 are Direction-Controlled to minimize the damaging effects of radio-frequency noise. Whenever possible, running separate cables to the treble and bass portions of a biwireable loudspeaker significantly reduces distortion. For these applications, an AudioQuest cable like Rocket 44 Bi-Wire keeps the large magnetic fields associated with bass energy out of the treble cable, allowing the delicate upper frequencies to travel a less disturbed path, like taking the waves out of the water when you swim. The result is smoother, clearer, more natural sound. With its thoughtful, time-tested combination of high-quality materials and design elements, AudioQuest Rocket 44 is an outstanding choice for all types of music, movies, and listening environments.
