If you already have a projector that you sometimes move around, you may be thinking like I did and is this a waste of money? I'm very familiar with projectors including the cheap $50-$100 on Amazon. In terms of quality this is night and day different. This projector is more like a smart tv than those projectors. I decided on this projector due to the lumens, built in Google TV, and especially the big speakers. I figured this would allow me to do outdoor movie nights or set up on a popup screen or wall easily. One of the best features of newer projectors is the clear and aligned picture due to the new technology they have. This one has auto keystone and auto focus that so far has worked every time and worked perfectly. Surprisingly I did not ever need to make a manual adjustment even though that is an option. Zooming in and out is also an option but I tend to leave this all the way zoomed out. Now the speakers are stated at 20 watts and easily beats my bluetooth portable speaker that I'm used to using. I keep it half way and that fill my whole living room and is as loud as week are surround sound system. There are multiple audio profiles that change the bass and treble. I changed it to the music setting and that seems to work best for movies and music. There is a higher brightness level you can change to. I tried it and it was a little brighter which I could notice but not worth it since the fan did become louder. The speakers, Google TV, auto focus, and auto keystone really make this the perfect projector. I was surprised that the bottom also included a screw whole for a ceiling mount or tripod mount. My kids have also used it to display movies on the ceiling and it works perfectly for that. The plug does have a separate power block similar to a laptop and then plugs into the base of the projector and then the projector rotates freely around. I have a 2000 lumen BenQ 1080p old style project and this competes very nicely in quality and resolution of the picture. That's mounted permanently as this is one I will be moving around and using in different rooms of the house. One thing that took a little to get used to to, the remote has auto focus on the left side and volume on the right. My tv remote is volume on the left so I ended up adjusting the focus on accident and then I would just use the auto focus to fix my mistake. This is just something I had to get used to. The other thing is the seller, I never heard of the seller before but I figured with Best Buy they could help if I had an issue. I ended up receiving the package quicker than I get when I order from Best Buy as the seller. It was protected in a separate box so no issues in that aspect.

I'm absolutely blown away at how good this projector is overall. I have two other 1080P projectors that are also newer. Those are the type you mount and tend not to move around. While those do produce good picture quality, this Aurzen produces the same quality picture but in a compact easy to move around projector. Setup was a breeze, plug it in and aim at the screen (or white wall) and the projector will auto focus and keystone for you. My other projector does this as well, but does a horrible job, whereas the Aurzen pretty much locked in onto the perfect picture. The remote also has a manual focus control so you can dial it in even more. I logged into my google account and all my apps were logged in and ready to go. The system does need a firmware update so make sure you complete this during setup. The google TV works just like any other device. It loads apps and menu settings quickly. It is really easy to use, and you can even cast your device to the google tv. What really blew me away was the built in speakers. All of my other projectors have built in speakers and while they produce sound, I would never use them to actually watch a movie or tv. I figured the speakers on this would be a gimmick and wouldn't be worth using. Thankfully I was 100% wrong. The built in speakers are fantastic! They sound way better than any TV and are on par with a good Bluetooth speaker. While using at a higher volume level they still produced quality sound and really make this an all-in-one projector. The video quality is also very good, however in full light it does look a little washed out like most projectors. In a room that does not get full sun I was able to watch movies with little to no issues. The less ambient light the better the video will look, but it's nice that this one can still be used even if there is some light. I really like that you this projector is an all-in-one package as it makes movie night inside or outside a breeze. We set it up in our sunroom that has sloped ceilings at night and watched movies. The ceiling has some texturing but that didn't take away from the fantastic picture. We are excited to be able to take this with us when we travel to our camper or friends' houses as it's so easy to move around. Overall, this is my favorite projector as it produces a great picture and good sound. If you are looking for a projector that is good for movie nights inside or outside this is the all-in-one package I would get!

The last time I bought a projector to watch movies with was 2010. I can see now how the technology has changed. One key benefit of this over other projectors I used is the auto focus. When I first plugged it in, the screen cycled through sharp and blurry a couple times before identifying the best setting and staying there, without any manual adjustment. The built in Google TV is another big benefit. On initiatl startup, I scanned a QR code and used my Google app to set up the internet and streaming subscriptions without entering passwords with a remote. It also has input for plug and play if I wanted to connect my laptop or nintendo. Some other notes: The acoustics from the built in spearkers are strong and clear. The swivel is convenient to adjust how high I want to project on the wall. The included 2 year warranty exceeds industry standards. I'm still looking for the optimal spot to project generally, but I like the portability of it to take along to a friend's house for movie night, for example. Overall it feels solidly built, so I'm also not worried about transporting it around. I've tested in overly lit conditions and am surprised how clear it still is in a daylit room with not smooth walls.
