While googled reviews were great on this unit, the top section in ours is freezing up after 18 months. The features of different cooling zones, space for size and lighting are so nice. This was our 2nd wine cooler in 3.5 years. The first was a GE that totally died also at about 18 months. We paid half the price for the GE & it had half the features. We’re beginning to believe all wine coolers have issues. We’ll see what the repair guy says? Ratings will be higher if repaired easily and inexpensively.

While I'm convinced that all wine coolers have issues, I believe the the former review about this cooler freezing up may not be the fault of the wine cooler. Do not pile drinks in top section(coldest section) on top of each other. It blocks the rear interior fan on back panel and causes the unit to freeze up. Clear the airway and it corrects itself!
