Installed the Axxess AXUSB-TY4 in my 2014 Prius to keep the factory USB port inside my center console working after upgrading to a Pioneer DMH-W3050NEX. Without this adapter, that port would have been dead with the new head unit. Now it works perfectly for charging and for wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto—handy for passengers who don’t want to connect wirelessly. Install was easy and plug-and-play, and Best Buy’s installer had no issues. Tip: This is only needed if you want to retain the factory USB location. For my setup, I paired it with the Maestro ADS-MRR steering wheel interface, Metra 95-8226B dash kit, and Metra 40-LX11 antenna adapter. Bottom line: A small but essential add-on if you want to keep your factory USB functional after a radio upgrade.

There were 4 or 5 adaptive harnesses. I purchased every one need to make it seamless. Reviewing individual harnesses is not useful. It’s only useful if things work together. That’s what they are for.
