The best handheld, but not plug-and-play.

Absolutely love this device. The build quality and design look amazing, it's very portable, and it packs plenty of power for emulation. The dual OLED screens look incredible with vibrant colors and deep blacks, and the battery life is fantastic—you easily get around 4 hours on heavy 3D titles and 6 to 8+ hours on retro/2D emulation. On top of that, the community support around the software is top-notch. Keep in mind that this is not a plug-and-play console out of the box. You will need to take some time to tweak settings, set up emulators/frontends, and do a bit of research. It’s not overly difficult if you enjoy tinkering, but there is definitely a learning curve. Once dialed in, it's easily the best emulation handheld you can get. Highly recommended!

Best Dual Screen on the Market

Easily the best dual screen Android device on the market. There is no better option if you play DS or 3DS games and want a gorgeous OLED screen. The Hall effect joysticks prevent stick drift, which is huge for longevity. Highly recommended!

    Cool device

Cool device. Runs most games well with good battery life. Would recommend getting a micro SD card for organizing files, as the android file interface is nearly impossible to navigate properly.

    Amazing little thing

Small enough to fit in most pockets. Beautiful screens and perfect for emulation or streaming. The second small screen can be used for guides, dual screen gaming, and watching YouTube while you play on the top screen. Very responsive. Easy to pick up and play.

    3rd times a charm

Third unit purchased through Bestbuy. First unit had a defective fan, second unit had a defective hinge and bad scuff on top. Third unit has no issues, works great, and lives up to the hype. Returns were painless and refunded in timely manner.

Questions & Answers

  • I see this item has a 1 year limited warranty for parts. What does that entail and how would someone go about utilizing that if needed?

There is no warranty and Best Buy fails to fix the listing. AYN does not honor their warranty when buying anywhere but their official website. Best Buy doesn’t provide any support or warranty either.

    Answered by Anonymous

  • Will they price match Ayn for this? It is selling for 150 dollars more at Best Buy, which seems a steep increase over retail cost.

It’s about $100 difference since shipping is free and includes screen protectors. I believe shipping is $40 on AYN and screen protectors are $10. Free next day shipping and easy in store returns/exchanges are worth the $100.

  • Price match request

It says sold by best buy. It costs more due to import fees and taxes
