This remote is beautiful! I love the color, classic throwback to old consoles. I love its transparency, seeing the internals is so cool. It feels really high end. I love the quality of the controls & buttons. Compared to my PlayStation edition regular Backbone, it feel so much more high quality & solid. The og already feels great but this takes it up like 10 notches. The ergonomics are unreal, just love the way it feels in my hands; it makes mobile gaming & overall much better experience; definitely a more pro feel lol. The buttons & sticks feel much more like a solid high quality remote. The extra buttons that can be mapped/programmed on the back are great editions. For example when playing Halo Infinite on gamepass I can map 1 of the buttons to act as “up” on the d-pad & can quickly call out enemies in sight with a quick tap on the back during intense gameplay instead of having to reach all the way down to the d-pad & lose focus/upperhand. It really does enhance gameplay & gives an advantage; those split seconds can mean everything during gameplay. The fact that this version has Bluetooth is awesome too, the original does not have Bluetooth. It can also make for a great extra remote on any other console or pc, or if you prefer to prop your phone up instead of holding it as a handheld. It can even be used as a wired remote via usb c, just like the original. There’s pretty much no lag whatsoever as well. That’s incredible. Love the headphone jack & passthrough usb c port for charging the remote & phone. I love that this & the updated original controller can be used with having a phone case on & has attachments for use without a case if you prefer. The Backbone app itself is a huge selling point, it’s a huge pro but also a huge con. The Backbone app makes gaming on your phone feel seamless, it turns your phone into a whole console itself which is so so cool. It’s so fluid & gives you the “Xbox full screen experience”. It even works with your phone vibration to give haptic feedback while navigating the app. I just wish it could also use the vibrations as a rumble feature for gameplay. That would elevate it so much, although it may drain the battery faster. The biggest downside of the Backbone app is that you have to pay a $40 subscription for 1 year to use all the cool features & to have that seamless console like experience. It’s kind of bizarre & crazy that they make us pay for the subscription ON TOP of buying the controllers themselves. Which are already expensive. The biggest selling point of the controllers aren’t even standard; it’s wild actually almost unfair. It’s really greedy, I could see maybe $20 a year or even $15, but $40 A YEAR is insane. Not cool. & what sucks is that once you try it & buy it, you’re going to want to keep buying it cause it’s so great & the biggest selling point/feature/perk of even having a backbone in the first place. THAT needs to be addressed & looked into because genuinely it’s crazy work by Backbone to make us pay that high of a subscription, for something we don’t even permanently own aside from the controllers themselves. Aside from that, it’s such a great controller, just with a high price tag & very high subscription needed to match. Again, I LOVE the way this controller feels all around. Freaking awesome & looks even better. I wonder what other controllers feel like, for example a controller by Razr or Gamesir. I saw Gamesir has an Xbox edition remote like this for about $50. The quality of THIS one is probably unmatched, but I still wonder what the others are like. Again, the Backbone app IS great, just sucks that we have to pay for it

Perfect if you’re traveling or want to enjoy a more casual gaming experience. The wider grip is worth the investment over the base back bone . Headphone jack is a nice touch but I often used blue tooth headphones. The blue tooth features is nice when cloud streaming on a laptop. The heritage translucent Xbox green is awesome to admire! If you’re wanting a cloud streaming set up, this is a great choice. The games I frequented were fallout 76 and had no issues with controller and game sync even when using voice chat and congested online lobbies. Played other non Xbox games from Apple Arcade and it worded just as well.the back bone button is a bit tedious when pressed on accident. I did not receive the Xbox promotional month of game pass, which was not issues as I pay for it now but it was something not included in the packaging or emailed.

Honestly the best feeling/working gamepad ive ever used, exceleny features, software, and support, could not suggest it more!

Didnt knew how much I need this! I bought it just to see how much of a difference would it make against regula touch play, and it made a world of difference! App integration is awesome! BT feature is awesome, and the green color makes it look really awesome!

Works as good as the offical xbox controller, fits my Fold 7 perfectly, and pairs with my samsung TV via bluetooth with no lag

This is a nice piece to take anywhere with you. I truck so it works great to kill time

Works well, you must download a pretty invasive app to get Bluetooth use and do otherwise expected stuff. That is why I gave it a 3 instead of a 5 star. The controller feels nice in my hands and the battery is a nice addition. The Hall effect joysticks are a joy to use even in extended gameplay sessions.

Works well. I am able to play DayZ on my phone with good connection. I travel a lot and I am able to play some games I already own. Instead of buying a new Switch you can just buy this. I also play games like GTA and Red Dead that I downloaded from Netflix. Very happy with this product. My friends are jealous. Hooks up to my phone really easily. IPHONE 15. USBC with power hookup to the controller to charge both units. I believe I can also play on my laptop with this controller.

Been using this backbone pro for a couple of weeks now. It holds a heck of a charge and lasts easily 3-4 days in a single charge. I also use it while physically connected to my s26 and I have experienced zero issues. The backbone app is intuitive even if I don't use it that much. Over all the best thing I've bought in months. Would buy again.

Actually works super good ! No issues and easy to setup . You don’t have to pay anything to actually play Xbox online
