It's an ok movie, I just expected more. it seems like it was early in the careers of two actors that I like so much in Sean Penn and Esai Morales.

I saw this movie as a teenager, and wanted my teenagers to see it too. I really enjoyed seeing it again and so did my teen sons. It really is done well and is very action packed. Sean Penn is great in it. He was a great actor as a kid and still is now. It really is a great movie that has not been around in years. Im so glad that Best Buy had it, and seems to be the only place these days to find older movies and cd's. Thanks Best Buy!

One of the Best movies of the 80's heck one of the best of all times. This movie shows why Sean Penn was a hot actor and not what he has become. The only bad thing about this edition is they just slapped it on Blu Ray and did not do much else, I would of liked to seen a this get the care it deserves.

This is the first movie I saw with Sean penn.. This movie in my opinion showed how good of an actor he was/is... This was only the start of his career.. This movie depicts what happens wrong choices are made... It gives a very realist look inside the prison system..

Not EVER to be confused with the Michael Bay series (which in isdeed fun), Rick Rosenthal's 1983 juvenile delinquent flick is downright nasty. A must-see for fans of the dirty, violent films of the 1980s; ranking alongside CLASS OF 1984.
