The aptly titled 'Zeitgeist' solidified Levellers at the forefront of British music in 1995. Following their headline performance at Glastonbury Festival that summer, 'Zeitgeist' soared to the top of the charts with it's in August, batting off competition from Blur and The Charlatans, and becoming the sound of that summer alongside the likes of Supergrass, Oasis and Pulp. Now for 2025, in the 30th year of Zeitgeist, the album has been gloriously remixed and remastered by Al Scott, the original producer who first sat down with Levellers at their self-sufficient Metway studio in Brighton to make the album, an iconic establishment which is still running to this day. The 3CD set includes a second remixed disc containing bonus tracks and a third disc containing an extra 'Outtakes' album. Album Tracks 1. Hope Street 2. The Fear 3. Exodus 4. Maid of the River 5. As part of our T. Rex Inch1973Inch year campaign, alongside the InchWhatever Happened To The Teenage Dream?Inch 5LP and 4CD box sets, and the InchSongwriter 1973Inch LP, Demon Records will be issuing T. Rex's 1973 singles as highly collectable limited edition 7Inch picture discs, with photos from the Keith Morris archive. • The first is the absolute classic Inch20th Century BoyInch, originally released in early March 1973, and these days amongst Marc Bolan's best remembered songs. It peaked in the UK charts at number 3, where it stayed for three weeks, while skinheads-turned glam-rockers Slade's InchCum On Feel The NoizeInch remained at number 1, and the number 2 slot was occupied by The Faces (InchCindy IncidentallyInch) and then Donny Osmond (InchThe Twelfth Of NeverInch). • Inch20th Century BoyInch returned to the UK Top 20 in August 1991, peaking at number 13, after being used in a TV ad for Levi's starring Brad Pitt (the one where he's being released from prison). The song has been covered by Def Leppard and Siouxsie & The Banshees, amongst others. • Neither Inch20th Century BoyInch or it's B-side InchFree AngelInch appeared on the InchTanxInch album, released three weeks later. Album Tracks 1. 20th Century Boy 2. Free Angel
