Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn are two of the greatest RPGs ever created. They have believable characters, a captivating story, and unique atmosphere that has captivated players for over two decades. For the first time, the games are now available to play on consoles. I'm very excited that these games are now available on console since I can play them wherever I want, without resorting to using an iPad or smartphone. Having Baldur's Gate on a cartridge is a great feeling as a collector, and having one of the best RPGs ever wherever I want is awesome. I would recommend the games in terms of story to anyone, although the gameplay may be slightly dated for some people's standards.

I beat the first game a long time ago on the computer. It was good. I played the second game on mobile. It was good too. Nothing beats this one disk combination. The games are great from the beginning of the game. The changing story feature is great. Nice to have on the Nintendo Switch Lite.

I loved this game when i was younger, and this is a perfect port of it to the switch. It runs smoothly, and easily. I was worried it would be hard to play without a mouse, and it is not. The same great Baldur's Gate it was, available on the go! Also, I forgot how HARD the game is!

Two classic games on the go. Deep engaging story, complex combat. The hours you can lose playing these games and exploring the world or engage in the epic battle surrounding the children of a dead god.

For an old game that got enhanced the graphics still don't look great and the controls are very archaic. the ai companions aren't very good either but it is a good start for a dnd experience.

excellent dungeons & dragons game. now that it is portable, it's even better & plays well on the go.

BG 1 and 2 were some of my favorite PC games growing up but to have them on my Switch is pretty awesome. The stories have held up well, the graphics are mediocre at best. Regardless, a fun game that you can sink hours into and enjoy - if you like nostalgia, I’d recommend picking up a copy!

These 2 classic games in one package are well worth the price, but the controls on console are very clunky. If you have no other way to play them, the are well worth the price but if you have the choice, the PC versions are the way to go.

I used to play baldur's gate as a kid! Glad I could take this along with me anywhere with my switch to enjoy. Great RPG/Dungeon crawler with upgrades and abilities. Alot you can do in the game and customize.

Not for those who are not into 90s point and click RPGs unless you are willing to try the genre. If this is your style, then there is nothing better. Especially on the go. Hundreds of hours of fun

All of the original Baldur’s Gate content now packaged up for the Switch to take on the go! It’s a really nice compilation with no noticeable issues that I could find while playing. Enjoy!

We have played the Balder Gate series for the PS2. We were very excited to see this game for the Nintendo Switch. We have had fun traveling down memory lane playing this game. very well done.

Bought this during Christmas for $30. If you are a fan of the original series then you will love the remake. Great to have it on the go except that the writing is really small.

There is so much to do in the two games included, along with all the later expansion content that came out over the years. Baldur's Gate is one of the most influential RPGs, specifically a CRPG, and led to style of storytelling and party building that would come to find in the games from Bioware. Despite it's age, you can really feel the influence. Be warned, the game is EXTREMELY open about all the things you can do, to an overwhelming degree. You make the choice to do or not do something, or allow someone new into your party, without any context for what you could miss out on down the line.

Baldur's Gate is an old franchise and is still receiving love in 2K19. Excellent collection.

These games are certainly showing their age, but porting them to the Switch means a whole new generation can discover them.

This was one of my favorite games on the PC when it came out. The game play is much smoother and faster and relatively easier than using the mouse on the pc.

This game takes patience but I’ve dived into it and am really enjoying. Definitely requires some RPG knowledge and is not good for beginners.

These faithful ports of PC RPG classics have been given an excellent control scheme that makes combat fluid and traversing menus a breeze.
