WAAAAY too expensive for mediocre headphones. Sound quality is good not great. App is good not great. Quality is ok not good. ANC is ok, reminds me of earbud ANC. Headphones Feels real cheap. On the other hand it’s pretty light so not bad wearing all day for gaming. Speaking of which, mic is horrible. If you don’t plan on using it for chatting then they are good. Battery is not good as well. 12 hours max. That’s assuming you go 12 hour strait without stopping. I fully charged them over night, turned them on to play the next day and they had lost 17%. App showed they were at 83% when I started gaming at 5:45 by 2am they were at 20% and lowering by the minute. All in all, these headphones are not worth more then $200 I would not personally recommend this to anyone at anything above $150. For $500 you can get the xbox counterpart headset with much better mic and battery and some higher quality headphones for less then $300.

For $250 maybe even 300 these are an absolute steal. the sound is incredible and comfortable, on a full charge they can last 15- 20 hours... But here is the problem they're 500 dollars. So naturally there are cons to this as well.. they don't get loud and I mean really they do not get loud.. you don't feel or hear that feeling when you have good loud headphones that are not bleeding your ears but really make you immersive these do not have that. As well as the battery should be longer.. And generally they're just not that user friendly you're not sure which button does what or even if that thing is on or not like Dolby, noise cancellation etc. Side note please please companies stop with the leather fine let it be an option but please let me have the open back better air flow of polyester. Save your money by the Astro a50s. sound incredible and by far the most comfortable headset for hours on end.

I play all my games and watch all my movies/shows/streams on my monitors. These headphones replaced my Philips SHP9500. I find for me the B&0 Portals are an upgrade. Let me tell you why. The ANC makes my PC gaming experience way better. It blocks out the noise of my 3070. I play on Bluetooth on my PC. I find it to be just as good as it is when wired in terms of latency and sound quality. You can test it too. Bluetooth quality is my opinion. Sound is always personal. These headphones come with a DAC/AMP built in. It can charge and use the DAC/AMP at the same time. These things wired through the USB-C make it sound even better. If you have a budget motherboard or laptop, you get a DAC/AMP upgrade and volume controls. You can connect wireless to the Xbox, and then switch over to PC and connect the USB-C to charge and use the DAC/AMP combo or use Bluetooth 5.1. If you run a 3.5mm line from the monitor headphone jack to the line-in port in your motherboard you can use your pc and the Xbox at the same time. The mic is fine. I really do not play with anyone, so the mic is the least of my concern. I am not an active voice comm chatter anymore. I just like the fact that it will be available for that special occasion when I want to speak on voice comms or in game. The quality of the headphone build is unrivaled. It comes from Bang and Olufsen. Think about it. How long do you usually keep a pair of headphones? It is an everyday investment for someone like me. The Xbox Series X is going to be here for a while, and I do not plan on stopping gaming any time soon on my PC or Xbox Series X. Dolby is fine on the Xbox and PC you get a license with these headphones. I use it occasionally, but I am one of those who uses everything default (Stereo NO EQ). I never mess with EQs. I disable EQs in Dolby and it sounds great as well for me. 500 is a lot, but it is an everyday use item for me like a car. The time I spend using headphones is a lot. USB-C prevents overcharging BTW. These were made for delivering audiophile quality audio to your PC, Xbox, and mobile phone wirelessly, and connected. If you are not used to sound style of these types of headphones, they were not made for you. I have had these for a day and have no plans on returning them. They have exceeded all my expectations personally. They do suffer from micro-phonics. Just be aware of that. This is solvable and does not happen to everyone. TLDR: FOR PC GAMERS WHO DABBLE IN XBOX GAMING.

These headphones are expensive but they check all of the boxes for me. So far, I am blown away by how these are bringing games to life. Music sounds great as well. Are there more cost effective options out there that deliver the same qualify sound? Maybe. I like that they are multipurpose but built with Xbox in mind. You can take a walk with music and easily switch to gaming when you are back in your house. If I ever start cloud gaming on the go, the nonchalant design will be even more useful. Some occasional minor sound glitches that I am sure will be addressed in future updates. There was an update ready to download as soon as I opened the box. Other notes: They are comfortable even while wearing glasses. The app is easy to use and allows for some nice customization.

Let’s get one thing out of the way. These are NOT bad headsets. They’re pretty great especially for music. However, for $500? The price of an Xbox series x/ps5? 100% not worth that money. If you already own a high end headset like the Astro A50s, these are not going to be a good enough upgrade to warrant the extra $200 and on some areas won’t be as good, either. The app is nice and easy to use. Connecting to the Xbox is a pain sometimes. I really dislike that the headset disconnects from the Xbox here and there. It seems like the connection is not very stable between the headset and the Xbox. The Bluetooth works flawlessly if you connect to your phone, for example. What I can’t understand is why I can change settings like tremble or bass in Bluetooth mode but not in Xbox mode?? Seems really dumb to me not to allow that. Sometimes (not often) I’ll get some kinda of interference with the wireless connection which I also got when I owned the Stealth 600s Gen 2’s but it was nowhere near as bad as those with the connection interference. I’m not sure if it’s the way my setup is or if it’s the headphones. They are SUPER comfy. Way more so than my Astro A50s were. They’re also super stylish and can be used like your regular headphones when you’re out and about. An issue I have is, is that the sound level for these headphones is way too low. Even on max volume, they do not sound loud enough. I don’t need overbearing sound levels like the maximum sound for the Astro A50s but I also don’t want a lack of loudness. All in all, they’re great and if they were priced around $300-350 it would be far more reasonable. But there’s no way I could justify spending an extra $200 over something like the Astro A50s which sound a bit better for competitive gaming. I don’t see the market for these headsets, they aren’t top of the line for competitive, they aren’t for the casual gamer at $500.. so who are these for? People that have $500 to blow? Save your money until these get a price reduction.
