I didn't think any heat that was being held in was excessive. Inside of ear cups are L for left and R for right. Even better would be left and right markings on the outside. The cups move around, like a wiggly baby escaping my hands when I pick them up. The 3.5mm AUX cable to connect headphones to the device is long enough. The headphones took less than 14 minutes to charge, out of the box. Once turned on, the headphone power blue light turns off, meaning if you set them down and return later, you can't tell just by a glance whether the headphones are on. The 3.5mm cord for wired listening means the volume button on the headphones is disconnected. Strange. Volume then must be changed on the device the cord is plugged into. Give the end of that cord a good shove to seat it in the headphones.
