I originally stumbled upon this game when I saw it marked on clearance here while browsing a recent sale. Given the significant markdown, I read the universal approval of it and, being I was a Batman obsessive back in the day, had to try it out. It's a very fun, roughly eight hour game where you as Bruce Wayne/Batman have to deal with crime families, super-villains and the media in order to make Gotham a better place. The Telltale Games format is unlike any previous adventure with the caped crusader (and I've been aiding him in protecting Gotham since the Sega-CD) so getting to choose his actions and choice of words instead of a more linear gameplay really gives the feeling of being the conflicted Bruce Wayne more than any other release. The game's sole flaw is the very first episode (of five total, with each containing six chapters) suffers a terrible lag and even freezing at points. From episodes 2-5, it dramatically improves, but was such a pain in the beginning I first thought my game was defective until I read other reviews online. But don't let that deter you. If you're even a casual Batman fan, you're going to really enjoy this unique entry into Bats' life. While the choices you make may be challenging and frustrating, the game is also an easy unmissable Platinum.

Came across this by accident. Glad I did because it is one of my favorite to play. Great story line and lots of great action.

Love the telltale series and this one proves to be a great one. Great story and if you love batman this is a game you need to play

picked this up on sale and have enjoyed the game so far. I enjoy the Telltale "story" games, it gives a nice change of pace from other games.

A great story and price make this hard to beat. While detective mode can really slow things down, the game keeps you invested overall with branching dialog and choices that impact the story as telltale games are known for.

Tell tale is a great maker, and I have played all of the games. It runs slow on the PS3 but don't be discouraged, it's a good story

The first 4 and 3/5 of the game are good. It's an interesting story and a different take on the Batman story. It has the typical Telltale Games hiccups and stuttering, but that's to be expected on last gen hardware. However, there's a bug in chapter 5 that prevents you from finishing the game. Supposedly the latest update fixes it, but that want the case in my experience. I would suggest going for the PS4 or Xbox One version instead.

Bought this to add to my Batman collection, its not bad so far, just something to do. have not yet played it all the way through, if you are a gamer and a fan, the price is right.

great game. only disappointment is that there is only 1 episode on the disc. they should have waited for all the episodes

Love batman hate this game. This game is pretty much listening to conversations between different characters in this game and hitting 1 of 4 buttons when you get to decide how you want to respond to the conversation.

What we've come to expect from Telltale. Interesting story & your choices actually matter. If you like Batman, then you're in for a treat.

I enjoy Batman games. They have come such a long way. The graphics are awesome.

Average. The game is kinda cartoonist. The young kids will love it, but adults, maybe.

I had great expectations for this game. But it wasn't what I expected. It doesn't play like a standard one person action game. To boring.
