Such a great game 10/10. Bayonetta is such a lovable character and her fighting mechanics are amazing in the sequel! Love how this comes with the first game which also doesn't need to be played to start off on 2, also can't wait for the 3rd game to come out in 2020!

Bayonetta is back and this game is just as enjoyable as the first game, and even better than that is the fact that this includes a download for the first game so you can play through it on your switch to get back into the series. Great game, I am really enjoying it.

This version on switch is so nice and it play well on it. Also you get a plus, that bayonetta 1 for free (digital download). If you can’t get DMC5, go get this .

This is one of the best games on switch! I paid Bayonetta 2, and I got both Bayonetta 1 and 2.

Hands down the best switch game. It runs so smoothly playing like a 60fps game. Interesting storyline and beautiful graphics. Can’t wait for Bayo 3!!

Part one plays just like the XB360 (best original console version) and part two plays just like the WiiU version. The games are really great if you like over the top action. If your a fan of Devil May Cry, Vanquish, God of War, etc. you should really enjoy it. The physical version is also cheaper than the digital version. Digitally Bayonetta is $30 and Bayonetta 2 is $50, the physical copy is only $60. The only thing that sucks is that part 1 is a download code.

It's awesome that is comes with the first Bayonetta for free, so you can get aquainted with the story. Bayonetta is a good game, pretty fun, and beautiful to look at. The difficulty is outrageous, and the controls didn't port over very well. Bayonetta 2, however, is unbelievable. EVERYTHING about the sequel is improved. The game play is the most significant improvement, and makes you feel like an absolute monster once you get practiced and used to it. It all feels so much more tight and responsive than the first, and it's actually possible to target an enemy AND dodge simultaneously, unlike the first. It's even more polished and gorgeous than Bayonetta, and the shop is vast improved. The Amiibo support is so good it feels like cheating almost. You can use 32 Amiibo per day, which nets you 500k halos, along with a boatload of additional items that you can just stockpile for harder difficulties. This game REALLY rewards Amiibo usage, and it is a literal game changer. After finally being able to play Bayonetta 2, I could not be more excited for Bayonetta 3 in the future. Bayonetta 2 is a must have if you own a Switch, for sure.

These two games (Bayo 2 and the free download, Bayo 1) are some of my favorites I've ever played. The core of gameplay is the combat, which is fast, responsive, and amazingly satisfying when you get it right. It can be demanding at the start, but once you get the hang of dodging and stringing together combos with Bayonetta's trademark 4 guns, it's pure stylish excitement. There are 10 or so unique weapons in each game for you to choose from, each with its own moveset and strengths for you to customize your style. These are deep, challenging games that reward multiple playthroughs. The story is like the biggest, wackiest action movie you've ever seen. Cutscenes look terrific and are bursting with humor and personality. Bayonetta's badass confidence and cheeky one-liners make her easy to love. The emotional core of the series is the friendship between two powerful, very cool women which is heartening to see. And thanks to some time-travel shenanigans, you can play either of the two games first--the plot will make sense and have a few surprises either way. Bayo 2 is slightly easier so I recommend starting there for newcomers. Overall I adore these games and can't wait for more of Bayonetta's adventures in the third installment. (Not recommended for players who are sensitive to religious or sexual humor. I think it's all in good fun, but not everyone might see it that way.)

I truly love this game and love that it also comes with the first one. It is a digital code unfortunately but at least you're getting both games for a great price. I wouldn't wait on this as it'll definitely be harder to obtain in the future. It plays similar to DmC and truly a must have more those that like action games.

This game is insane. Just completely over the top in every way imaginable... which it fully embraces and revels in. It doesn't allow you a moment of boredom. The action is fast and relentless, and while this occasionally results in a lost life because you miss a button prompt during a short window in a huge boss battle, it's a system you gradually learn to anticipate. Since this game also includes a download code for the original Bayonetta game, you're really getting two games in one, here, which makes it a pretty great value for the money (especially if you missed out on Bayonetta 2 during the Wii U era).
I wanted a game I could play on and off. I did a lot of research and it came down to this game. I'm new to Beyonetta. It was described as a button-smashing game. At the time I wasn't familiar with that term. I came to figure out it means pressing on the attack buttons randomly during fights. There are button sequences that do certain attacks, however I find smashing the buttons is just as effective. It's very "sexual" in tone so that makes it not suitable for minors. I've had fun playing and exploring the game. Still in the early stages. If you want something to keep entertained without needing to invest a lot of time and research, this can be your game. I read there is a part 3 in the works. Looking forward to that.

I love this game. Its fast paced, heavily focused on action, and has a way of making your engrossed that many games don't bring to the table. If you want a good 12 to 20 hours romp with tons of fights, interesting locals, and impossible sequences then buy this. Bayonetta 1 will still reduce in price on the eshop if you get Bayo 2 digital download off Best Buy. Im up to 35 hours and working on post game content.

My favorite action game makes it’s debut on Nintendo Switch. Love everything about Bayonetta. The action is fast paced with a good frame rate in both docked and portable modes. With the inclusion of Bayonetta 1 I believe it’s a must purchase. Strongly recommend it

Either of these games alone would be worth $60, so to get both is a great deal. Eben if you've played both of these games before, having them fully portable, without compromise, for the first time is a revelation. A must-have for action game fans.

2 amazing games finally on the Switch. Both look and run amazing and are arguably the best action games ever made. Good story, fan service, some comedy and amazing action. Defiantly worth including into your Switch's library.

This game was an absolute joy to play. First off, getting both games for the price of one was an incredible deal. The game plays like a Devil May Cry or God Of War game with all the flashy combos of DMC and brutality of GOW. On normal, these games play out to be just perfectly difficult where it makes you earn the win but doesn't ever get to point of being frustrating. Story, like most of these style of games, isn't the best. I was surprised though, by how much I enjoyed it. Bayonetta as a character is not who she seems and actually has quite a story arc that I wasn't expecting. If this game falls into your wheelhouse of genres you enjoy, you don't want to pass this up. Oh snap, and you can't take it where ever you go cause it's on Switch.

Even tho this is a re release, it is new to me. Love having it on Switch to play anywhere. Includes game 1 and 2, although 1 is a digital download code. Looks great and the action is fast and fluid. A lot of fun.

As a HUGE Devil May Cry fan, BAYONETTA MORE than lives up to the feel of that particular style of gameplay. The best part? This series was actually created by the same man who created the Devil May Cry series. Ain't that something? With that said, this is TRULY the spiritual successor to Devil May Cry, not just because I said so, but because the creator, Hideki Kamiya, said so himself. If you're a fan of DMC AND you own a Switch, you surely owe it to yourself to get this, 2 games for the price of one. Just wait 'til you get to BAYONETTA 2 and you will be truly blown by the experience.

I love this game, especially on ther go. I love that fact that you get two games for the price of one really. Ther game is step away from the PG games Nintendo releases.

Bayonetta is a very underrated game with an extremely unique style, and I'd say Bayonetta 2 is even more underrated. Now, with the popularity and power of Nintendo Switch, everybody can give this great series a try and take them with you anywhere! This package includes both Bayonetta 1 & Bayonetta 2, all for the price of a single game. I could give you an in-depth analysis of the gameplay, visuals, story, etc, but there are plenty of far better review out there that cover it. I'd recommend Jirard "The Completionists" YouTube on Bayonetta 1, and Digital Foundry's video on both Bayonetta titles.
