Customer Ratings & Reviews

Bayonetta is one of the best character action games alongside the likes of Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry. While this is an older game, it has aged incredibly well. It's still stylish and fun.

This is such a great game! Good story and super fun fighting mechanics. I am glad to have a physical copy of Bayo 1.

I've been waiting for physical copy since Bayonetta 2 on Switch, as only the Japanese release was physical. Best game in series. Includes Nintendo exclusive costumes for Bayonetta(Link/Princess Peach/Princess Daisy/Samus Aran). Looks and plays great on Switch portably in handheld mode. Looking forward to Bayonetta 3.

Nice to have the original remastered on the Switch

A masterpiece from Platinum Games, Bayonetta is a fast-paced action game with a unique combat and cool visuals. This physical release is limited, so act fast!

Over the top action adventure! High octane battles, with an unapologetic heroine. If you liked Devil May Cry, you’ll love the journey into the world of Bayonetta! With angels and demons, while busting some classy moves!

A classic 360 game on a now portable system! "If you need to learn how to talk to a lady, ask your mom!" -bayonetta

So glad we got a physical copy of bayonetta 1 standalone for switch. Didnt expect that. Itis great!

One of the best action games ever made. Frame rate is smooth and story is excellent.

great game very fun I highly recommend it at the time to play

Fun action game been out on all other platforms just finally making a physical appearance to switch. Id say wait for a sale but original price is ok for people with fomo

Love the game. The artwork book is amazing! The extra cartridge packaging for Bayonetta 1 & 2 is artwork in itself. Plus the the box has a foldout stand so you can put everything on display!

I'm so glad I was able to get a copy of this amazing game. The first physical copy for North America and My copy came early. Best Buy really did a great job this time.

Seeing as this was only digital on the Nintendo Switch, I'm glad they released a physical cartridge so I can have all 3 games physically. An amazing port for the Switch, fun gameplay, the game runs at 60 FPS, only downside I can say is the resolution and it also comes with extra costumes of Nintendo characters(Link,Princess Peach,Princess Daisy and Samus) Definitely recommend this game series to anyone.

If you liked the first and second games you will like this one. Pushes the switch to its limit for graphics fidelity (in all the right areas). Its a bit more challenging than the second game, but still easier than the first.

This game is so much fun. It challenges you without making you feel discouraged. Action is so over-the-top that you can’t help but smile. Bayonetta, herself, owns her sexiness. Everything she is and does is exaggerated. The story doesn’t make any sense but who cares when it is just pure fun to play and experience!

a great worth owning and playing. great story and gameplay

Graphics and Framerates were improved. More enjoyable gaming experience. Physical copy means one actually own the game (unlike digital it can also be displayed along side of other collections). Great story, and if one likes the DMC series than they will love this action pack game.

I’m currently playing this right now and I really like it so far. Not to mention that this is released as a physical copy! I would recommend getting this while you can. I have a feeling this physical won’t be around long.

Real solid port for the switch. Game plays pretty well, but do suggest using a controller and playing on a bigger screen
